We've found a rare modern loss that lasts until the punchline
I'm genuinely speechless
This. Very good mashup nonetheless. Truly a timeless classic.
Thanks, that was the goal here.
Oh, my bad. Not as OC. I was trying to disguise it like a normal comic, hence the transcript and “source” link.
Oh, i didnt saw that... sorry for that.
You’re good dude. I didn’t mean to imply it was my OC

I'm... not even mad. Well done.
Well played
Fresh take. Very nice.
boy is this a good one
Motherfucker! How am I still falling for this?
Gotdamn you crazy sonofabitch you got me good. Holy shit.
I hope that’s not the main event!
That would be a total loss
Ernie Bushmiller would be SO confused by this if he went to the future and saw it.
Can I get a brief rundown of the meme? This has all gone over my head and a quick google search isn't really giving me a good explanation.
The meme is called Loss. There was a webcomic of... Questionable quality that was generally supposed to be humorous. At a certain point the author's wife had a miscarriage and he made a webcomic that portrays him entering the hospital, speaking to a receptionist, speaking to a doctor then walking in to find his wife in the bed in the last panel. It has been memed since then, and abstracted to various shapes ( | || || |_ ) following the general visual lines present in the original comic
In addition to the below, here's a visual explanation:

The author made an edit years later acknowledging its meme status:

It should really have been titled "Gain" rather than "Found", but whatever.
Meme must be loaded with preservatives because it never expires
If You replace the characters with Rick Astley, the meme will be immortal.
Wow
The LOSS is in town.
The circus clown started sobbing uncontrollably, "You don't understand, I am LOSS"
I love you
Bravo. Brav-o.
Very nice source. Thanks for citing it and giving the author credit
If you're not aware, this is a combination of a Nancy comic and a ctrl alt del comic, combined into a new joke by an unknown author. It's a meme at this point, not a comic, so it's unreasonable to expect attribution to be there for both known authors (but reasonable to ask in a non-sarcastic manner)
Oh I'm well aware. I just wanted to get more people to see the other loss in the Source spoiler
Ah right, that's my bad then

So are we to believe the banker gave her the loan, bought her ice cream, and is now charging her interest on the $2?
Nah once the banker knew the circus was in town and she was excited to see it, he just had to promise her ice cream to get her in the van.
Wow! And here I thought my comment was cynical!
I don't get it. What's going on in the last panel?
That’s from a web comic this comic in particular went viral as a meme. It’s called Loss and now that you’ve seen it, you’ll see it everywhere. Sometimes it’s just represented with lines or dots.
Check out the Wikipedia article on it, the meme section will show you how you might encounter it.
I'm not even mad
