What has he lost so far?

Seems he has America losing, while he and his family have already raked in an estimated 4 BILLION (at least) already in his second failed term, and are trying to tee up a crypto scheme to make them one of the richest families on the planet.

I mean he made a fuck ton of money and so did his family which is all that matters to him

Estimated to be at least 4 billion so far in his second term. With no signs of stopping, by the way. If the stablecoin scheme works out for them, they may be the richest family in the world and unless the adults reverse things, they will basically leech off the system for life.

He's also just straight-up stealing from the treasury to reward his paramilitary thugs at this point.

Yeah, and that's not all (I didn't finish my thought on my poster earlier, but I will edit it). That is going to look like a rounding error if his scheme to place his family at the center of banking works out.

Does it seem like The Atlantic wants US to bomb Iran more?

The second surprising thing about Trump’s impending defeat is that he does not seem to have cared at all about the only evident reason to resume fighting in 2026: the Iranian people’s rebellion against their brutal oppressors. Trump has never given any evidence of caring about Iranian democracy or human rights. He promised the Iranian people “Help is on the way” on January 13, but military operations did not commence until thousands were dead and the rebellion was already effectively crushed. During military operations, Trump made clear that he sought a deal with the existing regime. He made no effort to support or cooperate with Iranian dissidents before, during, or after the uprising.

What’s . . . ugh . . . What’s so upsetting about this “surprising thing” from The Atlantic, supposedly an outlet for literate people who know more than jack shit is how insane it is.

Later in the article, they correctly identify his arrogance, his conman sensibilities, his lack of competence. And yet they actually waste the ink to wonder why he doesn’t give a shit about anyone other than himself. They’re “surprised” he doesn’t care about human rights?

For fuck’s sake - what the fuck, The Atlantic? You don’t actually believe that, why even write it?? Who is that supposed to be for??

Copied from a previous comment on an article about the Trump phone program leaking customer data:

Hardly surprising for the billions of people who assumed, right from the beginning, that this entire enterprise was set up as a scam.

In the end? It’s not over.
