Sure glad we booted all those freeloaders from Medicaid.

And that’s basically it!
and from the ACA marketplaces too, i think they to drop thier plans, because it became unaffordable.
Good thing all those poor kids won't get free lunches at school anymore so they can afford all these free helicopter rides
And Vance's kid can get to his golf lesson
The party of fiscal responsibility, everyone.
They are entitled to it, they don't want money spent on the poor and charity. They have supply side Jesus on their side.
This is how he feels about his boss,

These are not serious people. Wake up America, you're being taken for ride just like how this couch fucker is taking rides on your dime. Ya'll are very fucked, so fucked that it's probably irreversible at this point.
America's awake.
That's why Donald is polling lower than Jimmy Carter.
The only reason he's polling low numbers is because the unnecessary war in Iran is pushing gas prices up. If he hadn't done that, I don't believe he would be polling this low. Which means he fumbeled it. And the voters didn't care until it cost them their wallet.
My god, this whole ongoing SS ICE fuckery should have gotten some use of the 2nd amendment...!
That is not correct.
Iran exacerbated the issue, but the low polling goes back to the Anti-ICE actions in Minnesota.
People voted for two things in 2024: stronger immigration policy (not to be confused with rebranding the Gestapo, these are two distinctly different things) and affordability. Doesn't help that Donald explicitly promised no more forever wars, but his massive unpopularity goes back to allowing ICE to run rampant in Minneapolis and elsewhere. Watching masked thugs chase down and tackle fifth graders pissed off voters on both teams.
And higher than basically any other democratically elected western leader. He was elected twice, after all.
I can't speak for anyone outside the US.
But here, polling lower than Jimmy Carter puts you among the worst, if not the worst, US presidents ever. That he was elected twice is irrelevant.
Carter wasn't that bad (though we was a centrist while in office, and only later adopted some based political views). There was biased media back then, too, and the thing that made him look worst was the Iran hostage crisis, which Reagan colluded with the mullahs to prolong for just that purpose.
He was objectively a shitty president, but yes, Reagan's meddling didn't help things.
It is very much relevant. He was polling worse than Carter in his first term. Didn't help much, did it? He won even bigger the second time.
Obviously it did, as he lost the 2020 election, unless we're ignoring cause and effect.
The problem isn't Donald in this scenario. The problem is that people's lives didn't improve in a material way following the 2020 election (and in fact grew significantly worse), which unfortunately laid the groundwork for a second Donald presidency.
A series of last-minute travel requests, known as “off the record” movements,
Not like this administration likes to do anything on the record.
Vance’s plans to travel from his home at the Naval Observatory to the golf course at Andrews Air Force Base would’ve represented a flight on a familiar route, while avoiding public impacts such as traffic jams
Ah, he thinks he's too good to sit in traffic.
Not to defend vance, fuck him, but a motorcade would indeed be disruptive to regular traffic. Or don't vice presidents travel in convoys?
a military helicopter ride is around 27k-30k per RIDE, its much more wasteful.
Not debating that, seems plainly true to me.
Yeah, I always hated when a motorcade made my commute even worse (I live in the DC area and commuted near Andrews AFB, so it did happen now and then - I usually ran into them on the Suitland Parkway).
Imagine the outrage if Obama took his daughter to, say, a music lesson in a Blackhawk.
Can't be worse than wearing a tan suit.
Gif of Trump saying he's going to drain the swamp
The problem with draining a swamp, or any other dirty water, is once you've drained it all that's left is the scum and crap making it dirty.
Concentrated shit at the bottom, maybe Trump did drain the swamp lol
He's a filter feeder.
It's not like we needed to fund the CDC anyway /s
Blowing my years long security budget in a single day by sending my kid to disney world on an aircraft carrier.
Government efficiency at its finest
Republicans take deficit spending seriously, A thousand privately funded ads told me so!
Maybe we could let him borrow Kobe's chopper?
Meet the new emperor. Same as the last emperor.
Silly couchfucker
Swamp. Drained. /s
Hope Vance Jr grows up to despise his father
Is Vance actually his father?
I reckon if David Lammy (the UK Deputy Prime Minister) attempted that, the army would tell him to get his own fucking helicopter.
Ever drive in DC traffic? I hate Vance, but I get it. It would be hard to ignore that option if it was available to you.
