That was my assumption but they also included all of South Brooklyn so idk what to tell you. I couldn't tell you what they're filtering for

I took it to mean they have sub par pizzas there.
Nah quality is pretty evenly distributed throughout the area. Joe & John's is squarely in the red section for example. Honestly, midtown Manhattan is mainly chains and bougie shit that barely resembles NYC style
NJ Pizza > NY Pizza. I'll die on that hill.
I've lived in both but I don't remember anything distinctive about NJ pizza. The main thing about NY pizza for me is I can walk in, get a slice, and eat it on foot. Though I lived in the NJ suburbs, where "on foot" wasn't really a thing.
What is the obvious reason they are referring to? I'm not from NY or America do I don't have a clue.

Theyre being racist. Lower Manhattan and Williamsburg to coneyisland have been gentrified. There are still hold outs in china town selling cheap dumplings and wonton soup. And dupes for cheap

After some thought, its New York, so cheap is probably relative.
Yea. There's at least 3 night markets In Queens where you can fill up on $10. And in The heights and the Bronx you can find restaurants under the train tracks selling crazy portions for $15

Really, everyone should stay away from all of New Jersey. Not because of anything racial, but because it's New Jersey
Making fun of NJ is like "omg epic bacon" or saying "I'm so random". It's really passé and unoriginal. It's extra funny when the speaker is from, like, Mississippi or someplace that's actually bad.
