Fuck both of these assholes for getting us here.

But I love watching MAGA rip itself apart.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 hours ago

I wish for all republican voters to get lost on the way to the polls

He's gonna be our next president, isn't he?

[–] BadmanDan@lemmy.world 21 points 8 hours ago

Don’t forgot MTG voted against Biden’s Build Back Better which included free community college, student loan debt relief and universal Pre-K.

That lady doesn’t give a shit about us. She just mad Trump wouldn’t (understandably) endorse her for Georgia Senate, seeing as she’d most likely lose to Ossoff. That and the Epstein files which I believe she does care about.

[–] Leviathan@lemmy.world 19 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

What? Did you think he would fuck over everyone except you? People just never actually learn how Nazis operate.

[–] StupidBrotherInLaw@lemmy.world 7 points 8 hours ago

It's intentional. Profit from his rise, have a bit of a lull, then profit from his fall. US citizens just get fucked all along.

[–] deft@lemmy.wtf 10 points 7 hours ago (2 children)

He did not betray anyone. He helps his people just fine. You were a tool and everyone else knew. You stopped being useful and were sold off.

Can we let these people fade into obscurity now

[–] SupraMario@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

I don't want them to fade. I want them to split the gop so they lose all their control.

[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 4 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Can we let these people fade into obscurity now

They were only relevant during the rise and peak, now they're trying to find ways to stay relevant now that they're no longer part of that group

[–] A_Random_Idiot@lemmy.world 3 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Yep.

Just like Meghan McCain, and every other Republican slowly starting to speak out against trump (at least the ones that arent on their final terms as elected officials).

Its not about a sudden moment of clarity and integrity.

its not about trump having gone to far for the moral fabric of america.

Its 100% about trying to distance themselves from the anchor that trump has become, in effort to carve out a potential future in a post trump environment.

Just like all the ones who tried to jump on the money train after Jan6th, but slowly started leaning back in that direction a year later when their books didn't sell

[–] funkreddit@lemmy.zip 29 points 10 hours ago (2 children)

They truly were the village idiots all along lmao

[–] MBech@feddit.dk 14 points 9 hours ago

They still are. They're just mad white people are also getting hurt, when it was supposed to only be brown people. They're no less horrible, deplorable white trash.

[–] TheReturnOfPEB@reddthat.com 2 points 9 hours ago* (last edited 9 hours ago)

Village idiots, or those touched by gods, have always had the capacity of always being able to speak truth to power much like the jester to the king.

These two here are not the village idiots. They are just what we all are: late to the Stop American Nazis party.

[–] aramis87@fedia.io 129 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Translation: MAGAts who helped create and enable this entire shit show but who have lost their grift, attempt to reposition themselves for a return to some kind of power later on.

[–] homes@piefed.world 59 points 13 hours ago* (last edited 13 hours ago) (2 children)

They’re combining their powers to start a whole new grift. Make no mistake, they haven’t changed, they’re just the first rats jumping a sinking ship. Alex Jones has already turned on him, too, and is calling for his impeachment, lol

I bet Joe Rogan will be next

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 27 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Joe Rogan always seems like someone just startled awake from a nap. But even he is like "huh, like what is up with this war in Iran, bro?"

[–] homes@piefed.world 21 points 12 hours ago

That’s a very generous assessment, but I assure you, he’s just a fucking idiot.

[–] aramis87@fedia.io 4 points 12 hours ago

Rogan's already made some moves in that direction - nothing firm, but enough to pivot to (or away from) if he decides to.

[–] FrostyTheDoo@lemmy.world 55 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

It's a charade, they'll endorse him and vote for him again. This is all about optics and they've been given permission to do this. They'll ensnare a bunch of "reasonable" Republicans that are unhappy with trump and tease them with a few Romney types, then drop the charade and say "we know it sucks but we need to circle the wagons around Trump to defeat SoCiAlIsM"

It's just corralling people back into the right pasture

[–] I_Jedi@lemmy.today 6 points 11 hours ago

Vote Red as you're Led?

[–] athatet@lemmy.zip 24 points 11 hours ago

Love watching the fascists eat each other.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 7 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

The next Fascist these two pick will be worse.

[–] ClownStatue@piefed.social 3 points 9 hours ago

He absolutely will. They were both too stupid to see The Idiot for the bullshit peddler he is. Both times! They’re the “powerful people” this country deserves.

[–] Soulphite@reddthat.com 41 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

We have been telling you ALL for over a decade now that he would... this is on you, fuckheads.

[–] KelvarCherry@piefed.blahaj.zone 7 points 11 hours ago

yeah but now they can say "Trump? I was always against Trump" when they're peddling the next conservative fascist; just like they did about Nixon, and W. Bush... It's a very effective strategy ^^

[–] ramenshaman@lemmy.world 6 points 9 hours ago

Technically he didn't betray any of us because he was never on anyone's side other than his own.

[–] DaddleDew@lemmy.world 30 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

The Daily Beast is nothing but clickbait articles aimed at people who can't wait for Trump to go away. Take everything their titles suggest with a huge grain of salt.

[–] SaltyAmerican@lemmy.world 6 points 11 hours ago

What would you expect from a yellow journalism propaganda rag that has Chelsea Clinton on the board?

[–] DagwoodIII@piefed.social 26 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

I've been hoping for a Right Wing civil war since 2015.

[–] Red0ctober@lemmy.world 21 points 14 hours ago

The prophesized right wing civil war that shall truly tear them asunder instead of pulling all of them further right? I too have hoped for such a time.

[–] lIlIlIlIlIlIl@lemmy.world 14 points 14 hours ago

May everyone involved have 1000 days of diarrhea while miserably poor and without friends or family. A curse on all their households

I hope the crazies around mar a lardo curse them too, any day now

[–] madcaesar@lemmy.world 8 points 13 hours ago (3 children)

🤣 People in this thread believing anything these scheisters are saying.

Their grift isn't grifting as hard as it used to, so they are switching to a slightly different grift.

None of them have changed their racist views.

None of them have apologized for fully backing Trump and his lies.

None of them should ever be allowed near power ever again.

They did not change, they did not learn, they are the same pieces of shit they've always been.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 9 points 12 hours ago

I don't think anyone in this thread is buying into their nonsense.

[–] grue@lemmy.world 3 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Not sure if you misspelled "shysters" or if it was clever wordplay with "Scheiße".

[–] madcaesar@lemmy.world 2 points 7 hours ago

A shyster is a dishonest person who uses tricks and fake methods, especially a lawyer, politician, or business worker.

The German word Scheiße (also spelled Scheisse) means "shit" or "crap". It functions as a vulgar noun, a common exclamation of anger or frustration, or an intensifier.

These fuckers are dishonest pieces of shit! Thus scheisters 😁

[–] iThinkDifferentThanU@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago

I agree, it's they hiding it or tryin to

[–] IAmYouButYouDontKnowYet@reddthat.com 5 points 13 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago)

They don't get the big picture.

Trump is a muppet and the fall guy for a sinister social plan to bring on a modern new order of life.

It's sad but I think the real entity controlling the path of America and betraying America is the CIA. And I think that people are psychologically in shock and denying that this might be the truth. Because accepting it means we don't really have a home anymore. But NOT accepting it NOW means we will definitely lose what America is and was to a new surveillance and policing state, which is already in our view and we can see happening and growing. They throw basic social dramas around to distract us as they build and grow the real plans.

Everyone's looking for a savior and that's kind of bad. We can only save ourselves... And seeking a savior is a waste of time and resources. I don't think any change will come by use of the systems we current employ for structure and order. We can't vote truth into existence, we each individually need to understand the deeper meaning of truth and natural law and have faith in us and not the tool they used to lead us down this path.

I think "spiritual" change is needed, but we know industrialized religion is basically a key part of what got trump elected and is one of the main main marketing demographics to lead.

I don't really have faith in humanity. They already raped the species and have controlled us like cattle for centuries.

The problem is darker and deeper than left right and center. That's all distraction, and division, used as a tool to control the path in whatever direction "they" want. Whatever flavor leads Americas political system will still bring us to the same ending.

Wake up. Feel the surrealness, get past the denial, don't be led by emotions that come on - meaning don't be reactionary - ...think smart, live smart, stop living for their lifestyle and culture that makes you easy cattle to control, it's designed that way. It's like a scaled up version of a pimp offering money and drugs to a hooker, it's control and psychological abuse. The game of the streets is really no different than the game of the nations, it's just scaled up.

This means sacrifice of the privileges they use to keep us their cattle. The deals they offer us are not deals, and the freedoms are not genuine freedoms. We have "God", or the universe, in us to fuel our lives. Don't let them distract you from that natural fuel and the natural universal life path that is your right as a human being.

"They will lead you down a path that is not your path..." -John Stockwell 1980s CIA whistleblower.

They were always going to bail as he gets closer to being out of power. They see the writing on the wall for midterms and are just trying to play ahead of the pack. No one is capable of taking the reins of MAGA. Bailing was always the only option. They just all expected the waning months of Trump's rule to come much later.

[–] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 4 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Tucker is smart and knows which way the winds will blow soon. Marge is less smart but at least seems to have political advisors who are.

[–] KelvarCherry@piefed.blahaj.zone 1 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

I've always read MTG as being 100% genuine. I believe she believes everything she says; and I believe she believes she is fighting all the evil. Much as Trump is the embodiment of the USAmerican business world; MTG is the embodiment of the average USAmerican citizen. She is misinformed, arrogant, easily misled by propaganda, and swayed by emotionally-charged narratives (Jewish Space Lasers causing fires; staged school shootings; trans panic)

Some say MTG doesn't belong in Congress. I disagree. As a representative, she is perhaps the greatest representation of the USAmerican people.
