Rules
1. Be nice

If you want to post a non-credible take, it must be from a "credible" source (news article, politician, or military leader) and must have a comment laying out exactly why it's non-credible. Low-hanging fruit such as random Twitter and YouTube comments belong in the Matrix chat.

Posts must be about military hardware or international security/defense. This is not the page to fawn over Youtube personalities, simp over political leaders, or discuss other areas of international policy.

No slurs. No advocating for the killing of people or insulting them based on physical, religious, or ideological traits.
5. No politics
We don't care if you're Republican, Democrat, Socialist, Stalinist, Baathist, or some other hot mess. Leave it at the door. This applies to comments as well.
6. No seriousposting
We don't want your uncut war footage, fundraisers, credible news articles, or other such things. The world is already serious enough as it is.
7. No classified material
Classified ‘western’ information is off limits regardless of how "open source" and "easy to find" it is.
8. Source artwork
If you use somebody's art in your post or as your post, the OP must provide a direct link to the art's source in the comment section, or a good reason why this was not possible (such as the artist deleting their account). The source should be a place that the artist themselves uploaded the art. A booru is not a source. A watermark is not a source.
9. No low-effort posts
No egregiously low effort posts. E.g. screenshots, recent reposts, simple reaction & template memes, and images with the punchline in the title. Put these in weekly Matrix chat instead.
10. Don't get us banned
No brigading or harassing other communities. Do not post memes with a "haha people that I hate died… haha" punchline or violating the sh.itjust.works rules (below). This includes content illegal in Canada.
11. No misinformation
NCD exists to make fun of misinformation, not to spread it. Make outlandish claims, but if your take doesn’t show signs of satire or exaggeration it will be removed. Misleading content may result in a ban. Regardless of source, don’t post obvious propaganda or fake news. Double-check facts and don't be an idiot.

I don’t works in the industry myself but have some insight. ‘Performed as designed’ is a key phrase. The customer, typically the US government, presents a use case and a solution is designed to meet their specs.
It’s oddly mundane and a lot of well engineered shit never gets used.
Cold blooded.
Living in an area where a lot of these company's exist and develop this shit, many of them are proud of the way they perform.

Mass tragedies just means more future customers, for when they want to atrocity back.

She should just get on the War Thunder forums.
First, we need the F35 on the game, then we need russian players paying the devs to nerf it until any il-2 can take down the F35, which will prompt an enraged player to leak classified info on the plane just to prove his point about a minimal stat change.
I'm actually like 60% sure the reason War Thunder doesn't have an F-35 in the game is to prevent leaks.
Realistically though china stole everything they needed years ago. The J-35 is an absolute pisstake ripoff.

It's really, really hard to say from just the airframe.
Now that the USSR is gone, and the files public, we know that the "Concordsky" was totally independently developed from the Concord, and completely different except on the outside.
If they did manage to copy the whole thing, that's very bad news in any war with the West, because we're not about beat them on quantity of anything.

Okay but like, being a honeypot girl must be really hard because you kinda have to care about a topic to retain information about it. My husband started working with military ships or something like that and whenever he tells me ship facts (that are publicly available, he always cross-references Wikipedia) my eyes just fucking glaze over and I zone out because I have no interest in anything ship-related.
So Lockheed Martin girl must have a special interest in airplanes. It must be so hard to fight the autistic urge to correct a guy who gets his airplane facts wrong.
She don't have to. Record it via hidden mic, and it's just an art of asking correctly. Like "Oh I remember something about F35. My professor told and that's why it's worse than..."
Obviously you need to know the subject a bit but mainly you need to know the cognitive tricks.
That's how you solicit leaks on War Thunder.
Nah, you just have to make random nerfs to the equipment you're interested in and claim it's to maintain realism.

While this is funny, the entire honeypot issue can be avoided if the state sanctioned 1 girlfriend for every guy.

Actually ripped from the German playbook circa 1940.
The SS were given a state sanctioned wife for the purpose of producing as many “Aryan” children as possible.
Plus, a good chunk of men would cheat with a young, attractive woman paying them attention.

I don't get it.
There was a famous case of a Soviet spy who got caught by the FBI because of the way he carried his flowers.
In the US, if someone buys flowers, then while walking with them, the person normally carries them with the flowers up, stems down. The 'normal' way.
In Russia, to protect the flower tops from rain, snow, cold, and wind, the average person carries the bunch of flowers with the stems facing up/forward, flowers pointing down/back.
This spy bought flowers for some reason, and an FBI agent noticed he carried them the Russian way.
If you ever get a chance to read any of Joe Navarro's books, he's a very good writer. I highly recommend "3 Minutes to Midnight"

You carry them upside down because flowers are heavy and catch wind. If you let them dangle, they'll sway instead of snap.

That actually makes good sense. Especially if you're dealing with the same climate. Next time I buy flowers I'm cosplaying a bit.
I thought one carries flowers upside down so the water in the stems stays with the flowers instead of dripping out. It keeps them from drying out
