That's what so many love about him, though. The general message at that time was that Obama meant we were post-racial (even though his election drove conservatives to madness) and that it was "her turn" when it came to Hillary. Yeah, I didn't really like the messaging around that, either.

If Romney and McCain were their methadone, donnie is their China White.

But there's a vital distinction between "Can't be charged for anything while performing Presidential duties" and "Anyone who exercises a legal right that crosses unto the protected person has that legal right deactivated".

I'd say how it was supposed to work vs how its actually worked. One is a work of fiction on the level of twilight, the other is historically important. Capitalism can't control or regulate itself. Not as long as people are in control.
