Well now he can't open for Ed Sheeran anymore.

Be nice. Assume others have good intent (within reason).

Moderator Guidelines
Moderator Guidelines
- Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
- Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
- When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
- Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
- Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
- Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
- Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
- Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
- Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.

I audibly chucked
I used to be a fan of this guy. I still am, but I used to, too.
I'm the opposite. I'm a fan of this guy, but I also used to be
Alright Mitch.
17 y.o. me would've killed for a gorillaz/macklemore concert.
And now 34 y.o. me would still flip my shit.
Can we get this pls
Macklerillaz/gorillamore tour incoming

- Clint Eastwood
Fun Fact, Clint Eastwood's background tune is literally a preset tune off a Suzuki Omnichord.

That's so nerdy, and awesome!
Gorillaz first LP got me into dub, way back in high school. Fun fact, that song isn't a nod to the Hollywood actor, it's a nod to the Jamaican dub MC who used it as his stage name.
It's nested, like the Michael Scott/Wayne Gretzky meme.
Not surprised to see the Gorillaz frontman in the right here, but I am surprised to see the Gorillaz frontman. When did he come out as 3D? Have I been under a rock?
He's the lead singer of Blur, Damon Albarn. This has been known since day 1 as far as I know. He was famous before Gorillaz and when you hear Blur its obvious its his voice.
The rock it is, then
did a road trip once to nyc in the early 2000s with my bud and only once we got there, I realized, hey! Blur is playing tomorrow night! we can still try to get tickets. I don't remember why we were there. We saw some cool museums and met up with some cool people and shit. But the fucker claimed to never have heard of Blur, but I knew he was a fan of Oasis. I couldn't put it together enough to convince him this was an awesome opportunity. Years later the fucker was like, yeah, sorry about that. Seriously what I did not do was ditch my friend to go to an awesome show, because why would I ditch my friend, even though he's an asshole.
They use flesh avatars for touring.
Kinky
I love how he's dressed like a Black Panther.
Guess I'm streaming Gorillaz albums today.
I'd also recommend Damon Albarn's non-Gorillaz album "Everyday Robots"
Thank you - it's going on the list
IMO their newest album is really good. TBH, the only one I've enjoyed in the last 10-15 years. And they were really good live this summer.
Common Damon W

When I feel heavy metal!
