MODERATORS

The mainstream media continues to insist Democrats are divided on Israel despite clear evidence to the contrary. Now the media is following the Israel lobby's lead and manufacturing a similar split in Michigan. A new poll shows it's not working.

The media wants a horse race to generate ratings, clicks, and advertising dollars, not a nice sedate election where the voters' preferences are clear.

Plus, they love to scream "DEMOCRATS IN DISARRAY!" They have their marching orders: elect Republicans.

This right here. If polls are purposely inaccurate it's not to sway one side or the other into voting or not voting, it's simply to keep up engagement. And close polls keep people engaged.

If I was trying to influence the results towards Republicans I'd probably say the exact opposite, to make people rooting for El-Sayed not bother to vote.

The Democratic "rift" is between the leadership and the voters. Islamophobia doesn't play with Democratic voters like it does with Republicans.

I was going to give the article shit for not realizing this until today...

Then I realized it's a Libertarian organization, and they're still running a spoiler in this exact race.

So, I guess when giving them the "Libertarian grading curve", it actually is impressive the author finally figured out that the billionaires who own national media arent really on the peoples side.

I'll just take it as a positive even Libertarians are finally figuring out not everyone with a D by their name is the same, and the neoliberals can no longer rig all the Dem primaries.

Hopefully in another two years they'll realize if they operate within the Dem party, their primary votes can help progress.

All they've been doing for generations is waste votes from the left

What organization, Mondoweiss?
