In 1983 a then 20-year-old Malone impregnated his “girlfriend,” 13-year-old Gloria Bell, while playing basketball at Louisiana Tech University. According to Bell, her family declined to press statutory rape charges because of his impending NBA fortune — except he then denied paternity of their child, Demetress Bell.

Not really goaltending EXCEPTION: If a player near his own basket has his hand legally in contact with the ball, it is not a violation if his contact with the ball continues after the ball enters the cylinder, or if, in such action, he touches the basket.

Adam Silver works for the owners of each team so he can't make new policies without at least a majority of the owner's consent, I mean he is trying to make the NBA regular season better and more valuable to sell to Networks. I know it's coaches and Presidents who set out their own policies but alot of owners are very hands-on.
