They’re liquidating them not giving them away. Hope you got 100k lying around.

It works 100%. Because of the angle, wrists shots always make it look worse. Even the wrist shot is just about ok. Look at it in a mirror from a distance and you will the proportions are ok

This reads like cope, enjoy your Cartier/omega/grand seiko/zenith/piaget.

Such a list is pointless because it differs between everyone’s situation(and no, upper middle class with responsibilities is not specific).

Not Rolex or Patek but VCO is basically at retail or below if you go grey.

Yes, I bought a Vacheron Overseas to try out before I splurged for a Tissot PRX… wait

Longines if it was me. I think they provide good value, brand has heritage and good options for basically every type of watch. Diver, GMT or chronograph etc

Sounds like a lot of insecurity to me. Loads of friends in my circle wear watches from Rolex to Orient or Moonswatch. People may comment or casually ask questions/ask to try on but there’s no real judgement.

Work is a different story though, mostly it’s fine but when meeting clients probably a good idea to keep the Rolex at home
