Never thought Id be saying this but theyre not helping him at all. No good point guard, no easy shots. All im saying is, if he was in Charlotte or Houston right now, hed be runaway Roty like Chet. Even Detroit would be better.

Late post but yea just want to say the Magic defense is monstrous. Coming off 32 assists and 0 turnovers in the last two games as well. Jalen Suggs should get all defensive team consideration if he and the Magic keep this up.

Opposite of the other thread, I realized that Cade Cunningham would be better suited to the past era, since he has a high bball iq but outdated shot selection and spacing. Would probably be a star instead of called a bust already. Sabonis, Gobert, Paolo would all be top ten too I think.

It worked out better for the Sixers that they didn’t bring back Butler (alien.top)
 

Butler is nice and wouldve made them scary in 2020 and 2021 but then they wouldn’t have drafted Tyrese Maxey. Theyre not beating the Lakers or Bucks in those years so its not really a loss. And now Maxey is averaging 10 pts more than Butler and twice the assists, Butler is only a better defender but Maxey is probably the better player already.

So as crazy as it sounds picking Tobias Harris over Jimmy was the right move all along, we all owe Philly an apology.

Haliburton had another great game but was only the second best Tyrese on the court tonight. He has the opportunity to get his revenge Tuesday as they play Philly again in the in-season tournament.
