Computerisation, the paperless office etc all were supposed to generate better quality of life for workers. It was how it was sold. The reality is that staff numbers were reduced with work and competitive pressures increasing rates of stress and depression.

It’s like the death penalty, once you kill someone it’s too late to say sorry when new evidence comes out and they are innocent.

Looks like the US is not the country of choice anymore. Setting a profile to public means gets to see all those things you that may be embarrassing, career limiting, life threatening etc.

 

I’ve seen the odd reference to live tracking (like WhatsApp) in Signal but as I can’t find any real detail I assume that it doesn’t exist. Is that the case?

 

It’s not surprising that we may have passed 1.5c however the confirmation that climate science is on the money is a worry.
