Randle had a huge game tonight for the Knicks to help the Knicks clinch a spot in the in-season tournament. Hopefully he can keep up his production and get back to All-NBA level.

Can Randle make an all-star team this year?

Bro put the stat line in the title man. Honestly should delete and repost with boxscore link

While not the most gaudy stat line, Immanuel Quickley had a huge impact in the game tonight to lead the Knicks in a 21 point comeback against the Heat. Quickley played the last 16 minutes of the game hitting huge baskets and showing why he is a core member of this Knicks team and favorite for 6MOY.

Whether he stays with the Knicks or not he is most certainly getting paid by some team this offseason.

Just saying. Kyrie hasn’t had a playoff run like Brunson had last season since he was 24 in Cleveland. Brunson had more 30 point playoff games last season than Kyrie had in the last 3 playoff runs.

Don’t know what Kyrie has shown in the last 7 years can be reliable in the playoffs. It’s all hypothetical

Almost sealed the game with his foul baiting. Thank god the basketball gods don’t look fondly on that cheap shit and he missed a FT to tie in with under a minute left.

The Knicks own the Hawks

Julius Randle with a monster game tonight against the Hawks coming in clutch to help the Knicks get the win. Randle is slowing rounding himself back into All-NBA form after a slow start, averaging 25.4/10.0/5.2 in his last 5 games. Hopefully he can keep it up.

I like DARKO a lot for long samples, but sometimes I just want to see how a player is doing in a single season and it’s tough to narrow it down.

And I agree with EPM. It used to be easy to sort by team or position and now you can’t even do either. The fact that you can’t look back to previous seasons is annoying as hell.

Unfortunately 538’s RAPTOR will not be updated this season. While it wasn’t the best metric I have been using it for years and it had been doing a decent job at analyzing a players impact on both sides of the ball.

I’ve been trying to find another all-in-one metric to use now that RAPTOR is gone. EPM is the other metric I usually use, but that hasn’t been updated yet.

What advance metric do you think is the best to capture a current season a player is having?

Mitchell Robinson stood on business.

After downplaying the Wembanyama matchup by stating that he’s not worried it’s an archetype of player that he has faced before (Porzingis, Bol Bol), Mitchell Robinson stuck to his word and held Victor to 0-6 shooting as his primary defender. The most anyone has shot on Mitch this season without making a FG.

Mitchell Robinson has been the Knicks best player this season and is the major reason the Knicks have had a top 2 defense to start the year.

If he keeps it up so you think Mitchell Robinson could get DPOY consideration?

Jalen Brunson as the Knicks get their first win: 31 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 11-21 shooting, 8-12 three (career high)

Starting his All-Star campaign early this years. Let’s see how far Brunson is able to lead the Knicks this year.

KP next to Mitchell Robinson with Jrue and Derrick White on the perimeter would be pretty broken

The length on defense would be insane

When has Trae shown that he can play off ball? Trae hasn’t shown the ability to sacrifice his usage even with a playmaker like Murray

Even if he could transition off-ball, his height makes him not good for a spot up shooter role

Jamal is a better shot creator and honestly it isn’t even close. Just look at their playoff numbers

Literally no reason to replace him with a smaller guard more inefficient guard when you have Jokic’s playmaking
