I'd rather have Melo because I hate watching Harden play basketball, and he quits on every team he's been on. It just would have sucked having to root for that guy. I also loved Melo in Denver and Syracuse, and if we could have convinced him to play defense like he did in that Lakers WCF, he could have had an even better career.

The question of "Who would you want" is very different from "Who was better".
