100%, other fan bases don't understand Minnesota sports at all. We have been dying to see a good Timberwolves team forever. Now that it's here you see Target Center packed night after night with the most passionate crowd in the league.
I dare anyone to actually watch a Wolves home game and see all that excitement and energy and then say "overpay".
I mean... how do you know? Look at the other trades for All Star talent that have happened. Each involves multiple picks AND good young pieces. Wolves decided to not give good young pieces so we gave more picks.
You're right. But I still think the Spurs are gonna be a decent team. League is so deep I feel like they almost solved their load management issue by just not having terrible teams.
Who isn't trying to win now? The only teams that are legit gonna be bad are the Wizards and Pistons really. Everyone else will be trying to some degree. Obviously alot of teams aren't gonna be great or real contenders but overall this is the most stacked the NBA has ever been.
