How is the baby wolf floating on his jumps at the end of the video? WTF is going on there?

It could give you an extra 5-7 seconds to get a shot, but that is rarely needed unless it's the very end of a quarter. And when it is useful, the defense is going to press to make you pick it up anyway. So yeah, it's rarely actually useful.
Soft flop too. No reason to go to the floor there.
I liked about 3 min in when he's perfectly mirroring LaVine from like 3 inches away.
I hate how after the gather the offensive player can barrel into the defender, and if the defender isn't perfectly still, they call a foul. As long as the defender isn't reaching and in good guarding position it should be a no call at best. If there's enough force in the contact it should be offensive.
Are you surprised? Dude is built like a grizzly bear.
Agreed, in high school the distance is the same so it doesn’t matter. If you’re shooting by yourself it takes more energy to practice corner shots because misses can go all over the place so I rarely practiced this. It’s not too much work to get good at them, though, if you can shoot from other spots.
Really? Who’d you put over him?
I'm pretty sure these calls come from HQ, right? That's why it took so long to call it. Now why isn't it more consistent is a better question.
