I think east play-in is too optimistic for the Bulls. To make the play-in they'd probably have to end up hopping some teams like the Magic, Pacers, and Raptors but those teams are all straight-up better than the Bulls at this point. The Bulls look like a lottery team and mentally seem to be checked out.
I actually think Ayo Dosunmu is going through a similar thing. Promising rookie season that surpassed expectations, but now he's in year 3 getting fewer and fewer minutes.
Lonzo Ball, all of the talking Lamar did when he was coming into the league made me want to see Lonzo fail badly. But Lonzo himself seems to be the opposite of his dad. He's more quiet, hardworking, and improved his game every year he was healthy.
Yeah if you go back and watch when he was drafted Fran Fraschilla even says "this is not a guy who is going to make an impact year 1, he's a long-term project."
I kinda think of them as similar to the 2004 Pistons in that their starting lineup had no holes in it. They just had to run into one of the GOAT teams who were actually firing on all cylinders (unlike the 04 Lakers).

As for the self-cantered, he’s literally been loved by every fan base he’s been to so idk man.
During Ayo Dosunmu's rookie season Demar went down with him to Champaign (which is the most boring 3 hour drive from Chicago) to see his jersey retirement ceremony at the University of Illinois even though they'd only known each other for a couple months at that point. Last year he did similar things with then-rookie Dalen Terry, you'd see videos of them hanging out like Demar was making sure Terry felt welcome in the locker room.
He seems like the best type of vet teammate you could ask for, it's the opposite of the Kobe type attitude like "you can't sit with us at this table until you get better at basketball."
