I actually would prefer to be contacted on teams instead of email...

Yeah I've effectively given up on email at this point. Just Teams me. And don't say "hey". Say what the fuck you want.

I believe this is the same people that will respond "not now, I'm in a meeting". I know you're in a meeting. It's called asynchronous communication. I can message you whenever I want, and you can read and reply whenever you want. The messages won't go away.

Or even worse "I have not arrived at the office yet". Then don't fucking read teams.

There are people in my org that always start with a “Hi” and then send each sentence as a new message. Very irritating.

They’ll always wait for me to respond before telling me whatever issue they’re having….Just out with it in the first message.

Once I start regularly communicating with someone and they keep doing this "hi" business, I just start replying with this link https://nohello.net/
