By golly, Trump is actually correct. Someone with severe intellectual disabilities did fuck us over.
And once again, Trump controlled the conversation, and all the actual evidence is out there window for most people.
It would be awesome if there was an unspoken “don’t feed the troll” understanding among journalists, influencers, mods, forum commenters, everyone. When Trump says something outrageously stupid, just… briefly acknowledge it, and then ignore it and proceed as usual. Like he doesn’t exist.
That’s a narcissist’s worst fear.

And yet in another post you're arguing for people not trying to take control of the narrative and tie it to his firing if aviation safety advisors.
You just want everyone to be silent on Trump, except Trump.

He should work a shift as an air traffic controller so that people can understand he's just a regular guy like they are.

Amazes me that after the initial COVID response and just his entire public life, that anyone seems surprised that Trump is not the kind of person that should be making speeches about somber and serious subjects.
Let alone be in charge of the response to them, but that ship has sailed.

I agree with trumps sentiment. Old, fat, stupid, senile people should not be in positions that need to make critical decisions.
And Trump knows best, he has all the listed conditions himself.
In some way, it also symbolizes what he is doing to the country. His plane is just a bit bigger.
Next time AF1 goes for a jaunt to pedo-island, the air traffic controllers that trump is insulting have an opportunity to become really American heroes...

Airplane crashes a lot of times are very complicated with a lot of important factors leading up to the crash. This, combined with usually complete carnage and destruction, makes it that typical investigations take weeks, months, sometimes years.
Even if trump had been able to form a coherent message about the cause of this crash it would have been bullshit because never in the history of aviation did we know for certain what the cause of a crash was within 16 hours of a crash. It's. That. Simple.
Then again, this is trump, and no investigation will be made because this will become the official reason, the end

He's lampshading the next groups he's going to round up. I bet there's going to be an expansion of mental health intake and transfers of the "criminal" insane to the new camps that are getting opened up.

Yes, he blamed DEI and specifically said it was due to the FAA hiring people with mental and physical disabilities.
So he blames himself? Refreshing change of pace there.
There is a good chance this was caused in large part by Trump and his enshitification efforts. Right now the entire federal workforce is demoralized by various actions of Traitorapist Trump, degrading the quality of government across all levels. Air traffic controllers are part of the federal workforce. They were also short staffed, which in itself was likely cause by the poor morale. Blaming the hiring of minorities makes no sense given that a big part of the problem was not enough staff.
Trump knows this and knows that other people will make that connection too, and so him blaming this on DEI was his way of deflect the blame away from his rapid enshitification of government.
He doesn't actually care who or what is responsible as long as he can tell people it isn't him.

Report is that one ATC was doing the work that's supposed to be done by two, due to staffing shortages.
That together with the fact that people have been warning about this accident waiting to happen ever since the airport was built.
He's going to use this as an excuse to repeal the Americans with Disabilities Act. I'm calling it.

Have you ever noticed how absolutely fixated this guy is on assigning people mental issues?
I am officially upgrading that from 🤔 to Ominous.
That might indicate that he recently was informed that he has dementia and that it's incurable.
Or maybe he wants all his political opponents and critics declared insane so he can have them tortured with outdated treatments like lobotomies and endless rounds of ECT.
Sounds like a good description of the guy who just tried to fire the entire FAA.
