Christianity has become incredibly perverted. So many of those who identify with it would go to hell if it were real.

But then again it's completely understandable, we are stuck in a 2 party system where it's "the ultimate evil" vs "people I generally agree with but don't particularly like." (That goes for whatever side you're on. We all see the politicians the same, except for the insane Trump cultists.)

Dude, I’m an atheist, but the old testament is a complete contradiction of the new testament practically. The teachings of Jesus, who these idiots always put front and center, does speak tirelessly on helping the poor and telling the rich to give up their wealth to help others. I was raised catholic in a catholic school and I saw the contradictions as a kid they are so blatant. I’m just pointing out their hypocrisy in being so flippant about poor people suffering to give tax cuts to the rich while waving their Jesus saves bull shit.
