Here's how it'll go down:

The Epstein files will be released in one way of form (likely a leak), with Trump's name in it. After a few days of weird media silence, Trump will come out as a "struggling porn addict" and will blame his actions on "crippling porn addition". He then moves onto federally ban porn in the US, which will also include "being LGBTQ+ in any way of form in public life".

Not that it matters, but I'm not even certain who's side she's claiming to be on here. As usual, her words are absolute nonsense.

That said, she needs to read the room. She's not the first one to threaten to turn on Trump and take the base with her. And so far, every other time, the base said "No, we're sticking with Trump."

She thinks she's next in line. Don't look for reason or reality in narcissists' behavior.

[–] Chainweasel@lemmy.world 27 points 1 day ago (1 children)

She thinks she's next in line.

It just goes to show how disconnected she really is because MAGA doesn't even like her, they tolerate her because she's viscously Pro-Trump, and the second she stops they'll eat her alive.
She has no idea how apt her words are because the base will turn, on her, the second she's steps out of line.

Yep. The minute she stops giving Taco handies, she will no longer be permitted to be a loud woman by the nutbars in his base. They'll suddenly remember what the Babble says about uppity women.

[–] porous_grey_matter@lemmy.ml 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

what the Babble says

Fucking lol, how have I never heard that one before, genius

[–] meco03211@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

I’m not even certain who’s side she’s claiming to be on here.

The answer is obvious Putin's side but tbh i think even Putin is realizing that supporting Trump 2 was a mistake in how much it galvanized the European defense alliances.

Not that it matters, but I’m not even certain who’s side she’s claiming to be on here. As usual, her words are absolute nonsense.

Well, part of the problem is nonsense goo-goo gaa-gaa baby talk like the word "maga" itself, which has no real definition other than "loyalty to Taco". So as long as the qons speak in terms like this, trying to discern what the fuck a platform that has no real policies in it even means is going to be difficult.

The same people that called themselves "true" conservatives and "true" xtians pulled the lever for Taco, a guy who has had a hard-on for tariffs going back decades and cannot even quote a bible verse credibly. So....yeah. For a whole lot of the base, the point is about "owning the libs" and sucking Taco's shroom. Everything else is negotiable.

Finally MAGA is learning what it's like to be Melania.

Every time I see this is blame magic the gathering first

[–] MegaUltraChicken@lemmy.world 8 points 23 hours ago

To be fair, Marjorie Taylor Greene is a mill deck come to life.

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 6 points 22 hours ago

For once, I hope she's correct.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 9 points 1 day ago

Empty Greene wants to be bought off.

[–] MushuChupacabra@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Well? We're waiting.

The party of Rage, Anger, Fear and Anxiety

Nothing they do helps humanity, only hinders it .... god these people are monsters and American is completely brain dead for allowing these ghouls to represent them.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Maybe it is time to invest into production of torches and pitchforks.

[–] zbyte64@awful.systems 2 points 22 hours ago

This is MAGA, those torches better be tiki!

[–] rickdg@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

Isn't this case just another loyalty test? You believe what Trump tells you to believe. Bend the knee and let Epstein become just another nothing burger.

[–] Asafum@feddit.nl 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I don't understand why this conversation keeps going on as if it matters that MAGA turns on Trump. He got what he wanted and he can't run again... It seems like they're talking as if it's a given that he's going to be able to run again.

[–] MBech@feddit.dk 4 points 23 hours ago

Sure he's going to run again. Every single official in the United States has shown that they will do absolutely fuck all if he does, so why wouldn't he?
