I know mine's frowned upon but for me its the Sony XM3/4. They fit perfectly on my head and dont feel to heavy, apart from the sound I think its a great headphone. Anyways what's your most comfortable headphone you have ever worn?

Beyerdynamic DT990 Edition

And i actually like the heavy feel of the Audeze Models. I tried LCD 2C and LCD GX. Love that feel.

Koss kph 40’s are my most comfortable, they just pretty much feel like nothing is on your head. Followed by my modded sr325x’s. Something about bending a simple spring steel headband exactly how you like it. Also my 599’s. They are my personal top 3 picks for comfort.

FiR audio VxV - I could spend the whole day with them without feeling any fatigue

Sony 1AM2 hands down no competition. Super light and comfortable. Great sounds, too

Bose QC45.

IEMs probably the IE600.

My HD 599 are the most comfortable. Followed by the Xm3. Though, to be fair, I rarely use the xm3 as the sound quality is absolutely dire. My Grado make the xm3 sound as if I am listening underwater. What a waste of money they were.

Bose QC ULTRA. Much like the XM3/4 in weight, shape, and size. But the pads are firmer and the ear cups are more spacious. Great recipe for enduring 5+ hours of usage

Sony M1ST. They are made for engineers to wear all day. Not my favorite sounding but definitely the most comfortable

[–] RagingBearBull@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Custom IEMs, they just fit. Wear them for 8 hours is not a problem .

Don't have to deal with tips or a head band.

CIEMs are just awesome

Agree with the Xm4s. Ive worn mine for about 10 hours today and I hardly notice them.

Beyerdynamic DT990s, but after you stretch them over a basketball for 12 hours. At first those damn headphones are like a vice grip

Bose AE2 for me. Incredibly light, memory foam, and that nice angle in the earcups.

I thought they sounded good when I had them at first. But then went down the headphone rabbit hole and now I'm on planars.

WF XM3 Then AirPods Then KZ IEM wired

The very first Bose noise cancellation headphones were quite comfortable on my big head (big ears too). They didn't last long though as they developed a popping problem. The next pair I was gifted, which were a newer model, were pretty comfortable too and folded into less space though the covering over the padding on the ears kind of disintegrated.

Sennheiser HD598 for me.

I have used these for years and they have always been fantastic on comfort but there's one issue and that is not with the headphones but the climate. It has been getting hotter and hotter here where I live that practically moved completely to IEMs. Sure I'm liking them (IEMs) more these days too and I don't have to deal with my ears sweating after 30 minutes of use.

My DT 1990s, I forget I'm even wearing them because of how comfortable they feel.
