Wishing him the worst 🙏

[–] Wilco@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 day ago

Im hoping it was a stroke.

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 16 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Doctors could easily come to him. This is something more serious.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Dare I say the C word? Ok, I'll say it... He's a Cunt.

Also, I hope it's cancer. Inoperable cancer that will take years to kill him.
Many, many excruciating and agonising years. Long enough for him to see his cronies and children imprisoned for their crimes.
(Probably never happen, but i can dream)

[–] thespcicifcocean@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

I want him to stroke out and be left as a locked in vegetable with the tv on 24/7 so he can watch as his empire of idiots falls. I hope he survives like this for decades. Unable to talk, move, eat.

However, I'll take what I can get.

edit typo

Walter Reed doctors asked the president to come in so they and their colleagues could try to understand how he’s in such amazing shape. He’s the most healthy specimen that they’ve seen and many people are saying so. He’s agreed to go because he wants to give the people the benefit of his rigor and strength. In a statement trump said, “They want to know how I do it. Who can blame them. I hear it all the time. ‘Sir, how do you manage to thrive like this? Sir, can we have some of it? And I say, ‘sure I guess’. Who am I to keep it all here? I mean I could, it’s my right as president. Some say I, you know many people are saying- I guess they call it ‘lonn gev itee’. I call it dongevity. Dongevity, can you believe it? Anyway, it’s what the people want.”

[–] DagwoodIII@piefed.social 37 points 2 days ago (1 children)

The doctors don't want Trump to come in so they can study him; they want him to come so he can TEACH them.

Trump is smarter than all those eggheads, and knows more about sciencey stuff, too.

His uncle did do the nuclear...

[–] kata1yst@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 days ago

Well I'm just glad someone did.

Walter Reed doctors asked the president to come in so they and their colleagues could try to understand how he’s in such amazing shape.

The sad thing is that I can actually imagine KKKaroline Leavitt saying that to the press.

I hear he was born under a double rainbow and shot 11 holes-in-one on a single round of golf.

11 holes-in-one? I heard it was 21 holes-in-one on an 18 hole course.

Every time I see any kind of official federal government announcement, I imagine it's being delivered by this lady:

I have a close family member who visited North Korea back when they were still mostly closed-off to tourism from America, he managed to get in on a special tour.

The tour consisted of things like giving tours of "normal North Korean grocery stores" and shopping malls.

He came back and was enthralled. He said "Wow, our media got it all wrong, they have everything! They have food and produce and phones, they're not being held back, they even had kids playing in the hotel lobby where I stayed!"

I said to him "Are you dumb?" and he got mad.

Turns out, he was in fact, very dumb. He fell hard down the alt-right pipeline and then the conspiracy hole where he never came back from. I haven't talked to him in a long time because he straight up lost his mind. This is not a rare occurrence, most of America's conservative movement has been powered by this breed of people, they are also the entirety of Trump's political capital, a fiercely loyal voting group that supports anything their leader says, and they are violent and armed. You can't buy that kind of power.

[–] Monument@lemmy.sdf.org 33 points 2 days ago

His detractors don’t get it. The doctors just called him back for his second once a year exam to admire him. Trump is in unbelievably good health.

It’s Trump’s business acumen showing again. He gets his yearly checkups each calendar and each fiscal year.

Saying this is a check up is a cover story. The doctors obviously called him in to consult on a particularly tough case.

Yes, these are jokes. I hope president pudding brain remains cognizant enough to see all he built crumble, see his reputation ruined, his criminal enterprise dismantled, see his children jailed, to realize that he’s going to die before his political and criminal enemies, and that it all unfolds exceedingly quickly. Not all hopes are rational or possible, but I’ll accept any part of the above.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

They will be lying through their teeth again. Heck, they did not even get basic parameters like height right last time.

[–] panda_abyss@lemmy.ca 44 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Well it’s certainly felt like more than a year since then.

[–] snooggums@piefed.world 48 points 2 days ago (1 children)

The past 8 or 9 months has been the longest decade of my life.

[–] Assassassin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 days ago

Started the year with one grey beard hair. I'm up to like 10 now. I'm not physically aging that fast!

[–] selkiesidhe@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 day ago

Go celebrate your "good health" with a few hamburgers and extra large fries... Extra mayo.

[–] borQue@lemmy.zip 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Still have no clue why this complete idiot (convicted) can do whatever he wants to do. For me this pukestain must be detained as soon as possible. (But clearly the American people are still confused, overwhelmed, stunned and incapable to stand up as a nation)....

I don't trust Americans anymore. {full stop}

[–] Dogiedog64@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

He can do what he wants because he is, at least on paper, obscenely wealthy, and that provides the best protection from consequences in the world. Pair that with largely compliant judiciary and legislature branches, and suddenly his random rich person bullshit becomes codified as the King's Law. It's all fucked, dude.

[–] Philote@lemmy.ml 29 points 2 days ago (2 children)

What’s the spread? Fall of American democracy or death of Trump, which comes first? Seems neck and neck at the moment. I assume Draft kings has that bet set somewhere.

[–] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 15 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I mean, if you're going to bet on one, you're going to bet on his death. Not because it's necessarily more likely, but because the value of the dollar is going to tank on the fall of democracy and might even go up a bit after his death.

[–] tehn00bi@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago (2 children)

How confident are you in the US currently being a democracy?

[–] Philote@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 days ago (2 children)

My determination is if we are aloud to vote for a president in 2028, we at least have the appearance of a democracy. That would be the nail in the coffin.

[–] tehn00bi@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

Putin still allows voting. Doesn’t seem to help.

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 days ago

aloud to vote

Well, we don't shout anymore.

We don't push, either, as it's a quick thing and it's a little impolite. But our case - Canada - is different as we're still walking to some gym or hall, standing in the 10-min queue, marking paper ballots with pencil, and getting it all done in a day.

I mean, not like it used to be or should be. But elections aren't actually cancelled yet. Though they becoming increasingly predetermined with the flood gates being opened for blatant partisan gerrymandering and soon, likely, the neutering of the Voting Rights Act, so... not exactly long for this world.

not "possible", that is certain

Trump Spoke Of 600%, 1000% And 1500% Reductions in Drug Prices

Trump mentioned those, umm, interesting percentages in a July reception with members of Congress, when he declared, “This is something that nobody else can do. We’re gonna get the drug prices down. Not 30 or 40% which would be great, not 50 or 60, no. We’re gonna get ‘em down 1,000%, 600%, 500%, 1,500%.” You can see him saying this in a video that’s posted on what used to be Twitter:
