Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). When he dies the celebration is going to be worldwide. I mean historically remembered as one of the greatest days ever.

[–] Valmond@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 1 week ago

I think it will be more of an oof moment, thanks for that, now let's move on.

[–] Stern@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago

His tombstone will be the best unisex bathroom in the world.

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 week ago

I'm all for a trump celebration say where we celebrate the death of the most narcissistic pedophile dictator ever, and all leaders like him

Can someone roll him into a home already?

[–] oxysis@lemmy.blahaj.zone 54 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Preferably one that’s six feet deep

[–] Rocketpoweredgorilla@lemmy.ca 12 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I think we're gonna need a bigger hole.

Should go ahead and build him a Whiter House, or Whitest House, one where he also doesn't have to live with any prior residents having been black. Set it up in some sort of non-state U.S. territory, maybe give it a legal arrangement like a Native American reservation, but call it something he'll be happy about. Exclusive Territory, or VIP Room. Still subject to major crime laws of the federal government.

Just driving home the fact that the President of the United States is a deranged lunatic with the emotional development of a toddler and an ego that's so grossly inflated ¡that it's stretched as thin and fragile as tissue.

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

And tens of millions of Americans still stand by their vote for him.

I kinda just wish he’d won 2020 at this point. He wouldn’t have had 4 years to regroup with the project 2025 fascists, and we’d be done with him now.

[–] Sciaphobia@sh.itjust.works 72 points 1 week ago (2 children)

We'd also be done with him if he'd been prosecuted for the crimes. Even though they were fairly minor, like trying to usurp the will of the people and overthrow democracy, it would have done the trick.

[–] jordanlund@lemmy.world 14 points 1 week ago (1 children)

He was prosecuted and convicted, just never actually sentenced.

[–] Sciaphobia@sh.itjust.works 27 points 1 week ago (1 children)

If you mean the 34 felonies, that judge effectively said his punishment would be nothing. Which is very fun by the way - when has a non rich person gotten to shrug off dozens of felony convictions? He was never charged, as far as I'm aware, in connection to the coup attempt.

[–] Rhaedas@fedia.io 11 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Impeachments without a result are also convictions without consequences. If anything they showed him he could do whatever he wanted, so he has.

Thats true too.

[–] tacosanonymous@mander.xyz 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

There were so many other possibilities to stop his return. Most of them would be better than him ever having a second term.

[–] Kronusdark@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

In no way did I intend insinuate that this would be the BEST outcome. Im just lamenting that we still have to deal with him at all.

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 10 points 1 week ago

I see what you're saying, but I needed the break.

[–] snooggums@piefed.world 8 points 1 week ago

If he won 2020 the project 2025 crew would have still put in the work and we would be in his third, still unconstitutional, term.

[–] SnarkoPolo@lemmy.world 45 points 1 week ago

I hope Shitgibbon has a miserable holiday. Stumbling the halls at Mar-a-Lardo, watching Hannity reruns and shouting at the screen.

His family hates him.

No real friends.

No music.

No enjoyment of food.

Not even a dog.

Crappy Holidays, you child murdering piece of shit.

[–] Tikiporch@lemmy.world 33 points 1 week ago (4 children)

Explain the Somali hate to me. It's already come up at family gatherings this holiday, and I can say with 100% certainty there aren't any Somali immigrants within 200 miles of this community.

[–] Mister_Feeny@fedia.io 51 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Ilhan Omar is Somali born. She is critical of him, ergo he wants to remove all Somalis from the country. It's just hate all the way down.

[–] 87Six@lemmy.zip 17 points 1 week ago

I expected nothing less yet I'm still disappointed

[–] satanmat@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

It is a dog whistle— they’re black Therefore a shit county

Fascists are the weakest and most brittle snowflakes.

Every attack a revelation of insecurity.
Every praise an area of weakness.
Every accusation an admission.

He can't even just say Merry Christmas like a normal person.

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 21 points 1 week ago (1 children)

He's got to pump it out over holidays, because it's one of the few days right/left still mix.

The last thing the wealthy want is people sitting down at a table and realizing the shit we fight over isn't as important as what the wealthy are doing to all of us.

It's just a distraction to keep us from uniting against them.

So trump wants his voters riled up and angry so no discussions can happen.

[–] Auli@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

It works to well and has been for years. Look at slavery in the US when the white and black slaves united against the rich. They got scared and divided them with the oh you are not as bad as the black slaves. I mean we are talking hundreds of years of this divide. They do it cause it works.

Voter fraud... Like in the election we just had, that he claimed to have won?

So I guess I agree with him on that one issue

[–] i_am_not_a_robot@discuss.tchncs.de 6 points 1 week ago (2 children)

If there was so much voter fraud, why don't we have a special presidential election in 2026? Since he's doing such a great job as president and he's fixed all the voter fraud, surely he'll win again by an even greater margin.

[–] Rocketpoweredgorilla@lemmy.ca 12 points 1 week ago

One of his buddies just bought the company that makes the voting machines. The next election isn't going to go well. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/meet-the-republican-who-just-bought-dominion-voting-machines/ar-AA1OeLwV

[–] hovercat@lemmy.blahaj.zone 20 points 1 week ago (1 children)

[–] nforminvasion@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Didn't they also kill the girl?

[–] foodandart@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 week ago

Apparently so.

[–] MuskyMelon@lemmy.world 14 points 1 week ago (2 children)

You're a mean one, mr. grinch

Ebenezer scrooge at least was an extremely private individual who had no relationships outside of the few stuff he needed for his business(es) which were very local in scale. All we know is he was a moneylender of some sorts and had a warehouse full of grain that he was profiteering from, but that's it.

Trump makes him look like a boring chump.

Well he didn't drown a newborn so we're gonna have to chalk this up as a win

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Someone gave him a Christmas stimulant. Big mistake.
