Guys, it's an ai startup trying to ragebait you for free media coverage. You can stop posting about it.

Financial obesity is an existential threat to any society that tolerates it, and needs to cease being celebrated, rewarded, and positioned as an aspirational goal.

Corporations are the only ‘persons’ which should be subjected to capital punishment, but billionaires should be euthanised through taxation.

Every healthy society needs a robust guillotine maintenance and repair workforce.

I hear there's also a Luigi March happening at the same time same place.

[–] roofuskit@lemmy.world 113 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Good to know so many will be in one place at the same time...

[–] trxxruraxvr@lemmy.world 60 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's supposed to be a march for billionaires. I doubt many will show up themselves. The people marching will mostly be bootlickers.

[–] foodandart@lemmy.zip 36 points 1 day ago (1 children)

..so the rally should really be called "Simp for Billionaires.."

[–] trxxruraxvr@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Well yes, but the organizers were never going to do that.

We'll have him for dinner too.

[–] RaoulDuke25@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 1 day ago

He can finally meet Charlie in Valhalla.

[–] HeyJoe@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Hmm so your saying it's a trap?

Can you imagine? So many billionaires all in one public place?

[–] isVeryLoud@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Imagine if you put them all on an island!

[–] Jackhammer_Joe@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

We just had that #EpsteinFiles

[–] isVeryLoud@lemmy.ca 2 points 17 hours ago

(that's the joke)

[–] GladiusB@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Atherton California. Look it up.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 36 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I’m proposing a march for guillotines on the same day

[–] boogiebored@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Could be at the same place, same time!

Most likely the participants will be poor astroturfers sent on behalf of the billiodogs.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Still would be the symbolic gesture they deserve

They are probably all pedos, too. Someone should check their Internet history.

[–] HetareKing@piefed.social 38 points 1 day ago

“Vilifying billionaires is popular. Losing them is expensive.”

Certainly, in the same way that failing to catch a bank robber and allowing them to skip town is expensive.

[–] whotookkarl@lemmy.dbzer0.com 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

How long has it been since someone was tarred and feathered?

[–] Lioffproxy@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Be such a shame if a mass shooting happened that day

[–] HeyJoe@lemmy.world 48 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Will they send the butlers and maids in their place?

[–] Hackworth@piefed.ca 26 points 1 day ago

The billionaires will teleoperate robots for the march.

[–] hOrni@lemmy.world 33 points 1 day ago (1 children)

What if we rage on behalf of the machine?

[–] RaoulDuke25@lemmy.dbzer0.com 16 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I liked RATM before they became all woke and political!

[–] gravitas_deficiency@sh.itjust.works 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This still makes me cackle every time I see it

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 13 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

It's one of the follow-ups that sends me.

"What machine did you think they were raging against? A dishwasher?"

[–] Red_October@piefed.world 21 points 1 day ago

My lawyer suggests I not comment on what can be done with this.

[–] ooterness@lemmy.world 27 points 1 day ago

Does anyone know where to sign up for all these paid protesting gigs? Because I can't imagine a sane person going to this one voluntarily.

[–] ScrambledEggs@lazysoci.al 24 points 1 day ago (1 children)
[–] otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 1 day ago

It really should be. 😂

[–] boogiebored@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I thought California taxes were REALLY BAD and everyone HATES it there???

🤔

[–] III@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

What psychopath would try to lure pure, innocent and very important billionaires in the warzone that is California? Don't they know we would be lost without their genius and greatness?...

[–] ThePantser@sh.itjust.works 21 points 1 day ago

All I am hearing in this post is that there is at least 200 billion dollars just waiting to be liberated.

[–] vinceman@lemmy.blahaj.zone 18 points 1 day ago

Wow, that article is fucking brutal to read. Hope the organizer falls in the shower.

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 7 points 1 day ago

Oh it's definitely a joke, dude.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Watch them hire a bunch of people to protest for them.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I mis-read the comment and thought it was "protest them".

Though it'd be fun to hold a mock "March For Billionaires" and dress as your favorite oligarch.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 1 points 6 hours ago

Wear an Anne Bolin costume where you're carrying your own severed head.

[–] zikzak025@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

So, if this is indeed trying to be legit, what is stopping people from just co-opting the event as an act of protest against billionaires anyways?

[–] DudeImMacGyver@kbin.earth 9 points 1 day ago

"Greetings from California Oblast my fellow Americans! Billionaires are great amirite?"

-This guy maybe?

[–] AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space 3 points 1 day ago

Are The Yes Men still around?

[–] Warl0k3@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

It's going on now, I'd kill for a livestream...

[–] jh29a@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 1 day ago

It's february though!
