I typically drink oat milk or almond milk. Oatly is the worst tasting brand I've had. Good packing though; it almost tricked me into buying it again.

Interesting, Oatly is by far the best tasting for me (I've tried all brands here in Germany because lactose intolerant). Maybe I'm just being manipulated by the packaging though, I find it so funny. I get almond milk as well, and like the BioCompany brand the most there, but I reckon that's a Germany exclusive.
Coconut milk too? Milk of magnesia? Harvey Milk?
For real, it's so obviously ridiculous. Big Cow Milk must be pretty influential...
UK continues its efforts to be a shittier country than the US. Astonishing how good that insane fucking island is at finding new ways to make itself shittier and shittier.
Holy shit. Calm down!
Why should i??
Both milk and meat, like flesh, does not necessarily refer to animal products. Never has. The meat and diary industry has been lobbying to change that for decades and stupid/uneducated people eat it up.
Right? Like, the flesh of many fruits is called exactly that and has been, basically, forever.
The meat of the problem is that we are allowing industries, now, to define our language to maximize their profits.
The very first person to try to take advantage over others should have been eaten by the rest of the group, immediately.
The industry is milking it for every last penny.
Don't say that!
Glad to see they are focusing on the important stuff, unlike, y'know, the pedo ring running the country
As much as the UK is slow to act and the people won't face full charges, the big name in UK politics that appeared in the files, Peter Mandleson is gone, and his closest political ally Morgan McSweeny is too. These are two of the most loathed corrupt politicians of the current government and their involvement made them too toxic for politics. Prince Andrew had had his royal styles, peerages and titles stripped too.
The UK is a disgusting country and the second most implicated after the USA but it's response is very different, namely the people involved cannot run the country anymore.
uk, not usa court here, allas.
Still applies.
Forgive me - was only 1/4 of the way though my coffee
You're still not wrong, though.
"oaty: it's NOT a mammary secretion like milk"
I think thats exactly what theyre banning. Oatly isnt advertising itself as milk. Its called "oat drink".
Surely youre still allowed to say its not milk. Or oaty-not-milk. They could play with it and just put big warning labels on it: warning ⚠️ this is not orange juice!!!
Their packaging used to say "oat milk". I don't know how long ago they changed that.
Can't they just call it milky oat, as the cloudiness property of the substance?
