This hockey team should be shunned for partying with Patel. As if they don't know he's a traitor, in league to kill the republic? They know, or should know, how can you not. They are not patriots, they are traitors, feathering their own nests with the American Eagle Patel just shot.
Patel is not a passive participant either, he's the FBI director, a very active position in both crushing civil rights, the right to protest, and in helping to steal the election.
90% of the American hockey players I know are conservative. I bet the majority of the players loved this.
I dunno man, most conservatives seem to think kash is a fuckin loser as well.
They should have given him a true hockey experience that he'd never forget.

I feel like he's just a visitor to this class. A high-level visitor, maybe VIP, but if push came to shove, he's getting thrown under the bus before a lot of the other losers like Kegsbreath, Bondi, Steven Miller, etc...
This is such a disappointment after a great game. Really just sours the moment.
Doubly so because one of the first thing the broadcast talked about was how inspirational these guys and gals are for future generations of athletes.

Apparently he somehow has a law degree .. and worked in a government position (DOJ?) for 10 years or something, not sure that qualifies him for FBI director though, I seem to remember the director role being more political and it's the deputy directors that need more actual expertise ..
Why should the FBI director be a lawyer at all? Why should lawyers make up over 96 percent of all lawmakers and appointees or whatever it is? Obviously what we have been doing isn't working, so let's try getting non lawyers, that aren't pieces of shit in these positions.

The fact that @Lodespawn@aussie.zone had to defend "law degree" as a qualification to lead the FBI (not sufficient unto itself, but just a qualification) shows how insular places like Lemmy are. Just staggeringly asinine. You would be laughed out of the room if you asked this anywhere else.

I'm not saying being a lawyer is appropriate for the role, just that he does surprisingly have a reasonably professional qualification. He seems like an idiot but he must be some degree of competent if he can pass a law degree. His ridiculous children's books and evidence of his corruption would suggest he is not suitable for the current role.
Snort enough adderall and anyone can cram/rote learn enough temporarily to scrape through a degree. Did he pass the bar anywhere? I assume it’s a case of that old joke - what do you call a guy who partied all through med school, stole the answers to exams and scraped through by the skin of his teeth? “Doctor”.
Apparently he did pass the bar, but holy hell there's some real corkers in his Wikipedia page. He's a Ugandan Asylum Seeker and his senior year yearbook quote is "Racism is man's gravest threat—the maximum of hatred for a minimum reason" pretty rich for his current general attitude. He also claimed to be lead prosecutor on the Benghazi case but barely worked on it.
Good grief - that’s wild, but somehow wholly unsurprising. Asylum seeker from Uganda to FBI Director. It’s the American Dream™️. I can’t imagine his mother could be proud of this version of her son. I hope she’s disappointed as hell, not because she deserves it, but so he has to at least face that reality, because whatever bug-eye inducing, drug-fuelled, taxpayer-funded fever dream he’s living isn’t anyone else’s reality (no one with a soul anyway)

It looks more like he's celebrating near them while being ignored by the team.
They weren’t sure if he was talking to them when he asked to party. They thought he was looking at another team.
The silver lining to all of this is that none of us have to be Kash Patel. That lame motherfucker has a life sentence of being himself.

Most hockey players are very stupid but they take after their stupid father very well.
I think it’s easy to see hockey players might be kinda dumb because the women have full caged helmets and all their teeth, and I assume the men could do that but just don’t because they want to “be manly.”
Nah they’re stupid because they live extremely sheltered lives doing exactly one thing from as soon as they can skate.
You can't wear cages in the NHL unless you have an injury.

Hockey team deserves to be shunned for partying with patel in all honesty. Patel is actively betraying the US, helping to fix elections, and they know or should know that.
I have to keep reminding myself the athletes are representing the athletes of the US and deserve no disrespect for celebrating as athletes. It's hard to separate those "USA" chants from the meaning it's been twisted into today, but can't really hold them all responsible for Patel crashing their party.
