Welcome to the News community!
Rules:
1. Be civil
Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only. This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban. Do not respond to rule-breaking content; report it and move on.
2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.
Obvious biased sources will be removed at the mods’ discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted separately but not to the post body. Sources may be checked for reliability using Wikipedia, MBFC, AdFontes, GroundNews, etc.
3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.
Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Clickbait titles use hyperbolic language and do not accurately describe the article content. When necessary, post titles may be edited, clearly marked with [brackets], but may never be used to editorialize or comment on the content.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials, videos, blogs, press releases, or celebrity gossip will be allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

That usually works for Trump though
I feel like it only worked as a Ponzi scheme in which the grifter has to keep up a bigger and bigger grift to avoid all the consequences.
I think it’s why he became president, it was either that or bankruptcy, then the second time it was either that or jail.
Basically he is hitting a ceiling as the grift can’t be expanded more than international trade.
It's working properly...
"Make deal" on a weekend.
Markets recover a bit.
Oops, no deal. Weekend though...
New "deal" next Friday to bolster the markets, since all this shit is made up.
I take it those Polymarket accounts still have a perfect record. How many billions have they stolen by now?
All of them
Trump is the dumbest president in history, and it's not even close. Corrupt doesn't mean smart.
Markets rally back to all time highs
Trump does something stupid
Markets sell off
Profit

Can it really be considered stupid when his closest allies are making millions/billions off of him?
Exactly, merely the necessary veneer of plausible deniability for the scheme to be successful.
The dipshits on Fox last night were making hilarious claims. This is the greatest military victory ever. Iran will never be able to rebuild their military.

Iran is playing Trump like a fiddle. They opened it just to put the full blame on Trump.
When will markets stop reacting to every one of his BS posts?
You still think markets are reactive and not meticulously controlled?
Well yeah, the Stock Market peaked yesterday, so we have to knock it down now, so we can ride it to the top again.
Literally in what fucking universe could anyone have thought that would fly. Obviously they're not gonna keep the straight open if theyre under naval blockade
I only noticed now but this slob is being compared to the devil. And he constantly makes the shitiest deals. One would say he is obsessed with winning deals.
The actual devil would be better at this
But really, isn't the Devil also a pretty shitty dealmaker? I mean, how much is a soul worth nowadays? Supply is running at an all-time high, quality is definitely going down.
The only thing that made his business viable was that it was a monopsony, with many potential sellers but only one buyer. But today's market is much more competitive, with social networks and AI enabling a veritable marketplace that will suck your soul into the abyss little by little without so much as a contract written in your own blood.
The time of the Devil roaming the world at leisure, negotiating precious souls of saints, artists and great men is over. Those luxury, collector souls have no market now.
They are definately being smart embracing his chaos. He is used to coming in and making a mess and having other folks clean it up for him. Iran has not reason to maintain stability the way like china or europe do. Thing is he learned that from putin but it works when your a minor player. Doing it with the us is just insanity.
