But where is the reverse engineer?

[–] Lumisal@lemmy.world 36 points 4 hours ago (3 children)

You just have to look up to see them

[–] diabetic_porcupine@lemmy.world 4 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

I prefer forward deployed developers

That's a pentester

[–] testaccount789@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 hours ago

That's just Australian backend.

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 15 points 4 hours ago

He’s uploading to a mirror.

Is this what passes for humour amongst front-end devs? Explains a lot :)

[–] Agent641@lemmy.world 20 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

The design and the UX of the joke is perfect. Making it actually funny is not my department.

[–] Codpiece@feddit.uk 11 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

QA says it was in the design spec, so back to Jira with you.

Check the figma wireframes, I clearly marked the fields where engineering was to insert the comedy

[–] Codpiece@feddit.uk 3 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

Sorry, did you not see the Teams notifications? Most of the engineers have been reassigned for the remainder of the project.

The product owner has says it’s on the screen so it’s front ends responsibility.

Let’s have an in person meeting on Friday about reallocating part of your personal training budget to get you on a course. Face-to-face would be better, don’t you think?

Hi, thanks for your message.

I'll be out of the office on vacation for the next two weeks. For any urgent matters, do not hesitate to delegate them to other departments. If you need to reach me while I am on vacation, I wish you all the best.

This is an automated response, please do not reply.

Their frameworks pass for humor.

[–] Codpiece@feddit.uk 5 points 4 hours ago

Don’t say that. It’ll give them an excuse to write yet another one.

[–] Mesa@programming.dev 4 points 3 hours ago

I think is one of them fool stack engineers or something.

[–] NeatNit@discuss.tchncs.de 6 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

It's genuinely funny, I don't know what more you want. (I don't consider myself a frontend dev fwiw)

[–] sukhmel@programming.dev -1 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

I can tell you what more: the keyboard is upside down in this picture

[–] NeatNit@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 4 hours ago

Uhh but it's clearly not though?

[–] hayvan@piefed.world 5 points 7 hours ago (2 children)

Slopgen pictures of developers be like.

[–] thesdev@feddit.org 27 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Slopgen? This meme has been in circulation so long it can retire with full benefits.

[–] red_tomato@lemmy.world 6 points 6 hours ago

The joke is that slopgen images tend to have the monitors in the wrong way

[–] AbsolutelyClawless@piefed.social 11 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Can't tell if joke about slop or if you think this is slopgen. What a timeline...

[–] hayvan@piefed.world 6 points 5 hours ago

Clarification: this is a joke about how slop images tend to get monitor directions wrong but it never bothers slop enjoyers.
