[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 days ago

... if i tell you in detail about why i'd prefer to infodump to a living being instead of a panotpticon dragnet... could i maybe be on that list?

As an autistic adult, what the actual fuck.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 18 points 3 days ago

Yeah they're pro neurodivergence right up until the eugenicists decide they don't have to play nice anymore and take control of the mass surveillance technology

[–] nul9o9@lemmy.dbzer0.com 52 points 4 days ago

As a father of 3 autistic boys, I'm gonna gatekeep. They can get the fuck out with that shit.

[–] SkybreakerEngineer@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I am the storm that is approaching

Provoking black clouds in isolation

[–] stepan@lemmy.cafe 17 points 3 days ago (1 children)

there's a point in our neurodivergent lives where we have to decide whether to be a super queer leftist or comic book villain. no other option

we do not have to choose. we can be super queer leftist comic book villains. you too can have it all!

Nearly every autistic person I know doesn't believe in gods and devils. They believe in real things like trains and cars and other real things to obsess over. My son not only can identify most cars he can tell you the year model on sight. It isn't that useful but if he is ever in a situation where identification of a car is needed he will have it right.

key word: I know

I dont know anyone with leukeumia either, doesnt mean it doesnt exist

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Key phrase 'nearly every autistic person' doesn't mean everyone.

"All we have is this blurry camera footage."

"That's a tan 2013 Toyota corolla."

Cops arrest a black guy in a gray civic

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

This has been the case so far.

WARRIOR CULTURE

BRAINS ARE FOR PUSSIES

[–] IAMgROOT@lemmy.wtf 3 points 2 days ago

A nation that seperates its scholars and warriors will have its thinking done by cowards and all its wars fought by the ignorant

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 3 days ago

Now that would make for a better T Shirt.

[–] TowardsTheFuture@lemmy.zip 20 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Sounds like some stormfront shit.

[–] backalleycoyote@lemmy.today 4 points 4 days ago

I wondered what Northern Invasion was so I looked it up. It’s a Hot Topic grade “metal” festival in WI- FFDP, Volbeat, Disturbed, etc. So, yeah, probably a fair amount of that type in the crowd.

I'm joining the war on autism, on the- wait hold on there's a war? The devil is involved you say? Well which side is he on

[–] justaman123@lemmy.world 14 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Apparently palantir's side, based on the leader's take on Mordor

[–] msage@programming.dev 6 points 4 days ago (2 children)

No, the devil was against the god, the all knowing, all seeing entity, so definitely against Palantir.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago (2 children)

i like my mythology better where the devil is a literal chicken in Idaho

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)
[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I haven't really developed a devil on my religion beyond that, sorry

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Damn.

Perhaps we can develop some kind of lore that involves him goin' on down to Gerogia...

[–] EvilHankVenture@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Colonel Sanders was God, he didn't know which chicken was the devil so he decided to cook all of them.

Ooo, I like this except my god is a giant alien space crab who really likes tea and is named Russell.

[–] msage@programming.dev 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Nah, the devil is in the details

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 days ago

he's somewhere in those jots and tittles, somewhere...

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Probably should stop fucking the devil, just saying.

[–] RamenJunkie@midwest.social 2 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Have you seen Bedazzled and Shortcut to Happiness? The Devil is fucking hot.

[–] Una@europe.pub 4 points 3 days ago

What about getting fucked by the devil :3 🥺🥺

[–] green_goglin@thelemmy.club 4 points 3 days ago

Puts on PLTR

[–] Nurse_Robot@lemmy.world 8 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Fuck Palantir? Why the fuck is this getting upvotes

For the “WTF” factor.

Tbh I didn’t even notice the part under the photo until I saw your comment and went back up, wondering why people were talking about Palantir. I just saw the shirt and thought that was weird enough.

[–] tacosanonymous@mander.xyz 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I thought the devil was telling people to believe in themselves? Which is it?!

[–] brotundspiele@sh.itjust.works 6 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

The devil helping you figure out what you are capable of and what not is quite on point.

The devil whispered in my ear: "You are not strong enough to withstand the storm."
So I built a shelter that was able to withstand the storm and survived. Thanks for the heads up, devil. My neighbour didn't listen to the devil and rather prayed to god when the storm arrived. He got knocked out by a flying tree.
