Speaking as a now old man that started working at 14 in factories to help my family keep a roof over our heads and food on the table and only had the bare minimum protection for kids that worked, fuck these family values assholes.

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.

- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

ya know, it's one thing when they're just outright sexist/racist or warmongering or corrupt/theives. we all know they're those things. shitty, selfish people.
but when they do THIS SHIT, we know that they're not just selfish, they're cruel. they don't do what they do just to take from other and enrich themselves... no...
they want to be cruel. they want to hurt others they perceive as weak. it's not enough just to take from you. they want to see you suffer for it. they want to see children suffer.

Stripping child labour protection is essentially stripping workers and human rights away. This may be focused on children but it absolutely isnt - it also mixes in teenagers and adults, and those who support this are egotistical pricks.
Republicans have a weird fixation with exploiting children.
It's really a weird fixation with exploiting EVERYBODY. They just don't see why kids should get a break.
Yeah, children are an easy target, but they would also go after teens, young and old adults. Its a problem that concerns everybody.
If you are a Republican.. fuck you.
You already have mom and dad working two jobs each, and it's still tough to pay the bills. Now we can get the kids out contributing to the household, too. It's not like they're getting decent public school education anyway.
If you get all the kids working a couple of jobs, your path to wealth will be assured, just work really hard, and don't worry about the money, it'll come.
Best part is kids don't vote so they can't represent themselves.
I fully support children getting violent against those who voted for or support this.
