I've never remembered one of my dreams, so I'm not really sure what to expect. Give me your best stories!

I lost my mom in 2023. She loved gardening. Awhile after she passed i dreamed that i was with her at Lowe's looking at plants and just chatting and having fun. In the dream i knew something wasn't right, that we weren't supposed to be there together. Before we went separate ways, i hugged her and told her i loved her. I woke up feeling so happy that i had that opportunity to spend one more afternoon with her. 😭

In my dreams, if I call the names of my pets, they often show up just to hang out. They have good ears

Well... I find it kinda funny (and I find it kinda sad) that the dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had.

I knew someone would've made that joke

I used to work a job that was a personal hell made just for me and I let them convince me I was to stupid to ever leave for anything better.

One night I dreamt I woke up and the world was just uninhabited by humans. Like they all got raptured or something. I Am Legend but without the monsters. I took a forklift from work and I just drove it out the doors and across the country. For some reason it took me all the way to the coast. One of the few dreams that I ever felt like had a definitive ending instead of just waking up. I'm not sure, perhaps the memory has been distorted with time

Several years ago two of my kids went no contact with me. The circumstances are complex but I can understand their perspective and I respect their decision. It wasn’t entirely undeserved.

About a year after that I had a dream where the three of us hashed out our differences and reconciled. And what makes this dream stand out among all my other dreams is that was the first and only lucid dream I’ve ever had. I remember every detail vividly and I remember having complete agency and full control over everything I said and did. I haven’t been able to recreate that experience since.

I'm sorry about your kid situation. How do you handle that? Do you have hope for reconciliation?

One of mine left us last July 31. I think it's ridiculous and I'm both sad and angry about it. I hope it's not forever.

How do you handle that?

Very poorly. Nothing prepared me for the sequence of events that led to this. Like you though, I hope it’s not forever.

I follow their social media. I don’t bother them, I just like to know they’re okay. Maybe when I feel the time is right I’ll reach out.

There were a few times that I realized I was dreaming. Those are the best.

I used to have a reoccurring dream when I was a teen where I would be able to fly in the air if I had a kickboard with me. It led to me even being able to lucid dream. It was awesome. Unfortunately I haven't lucid dreamt since that reoccurring dream ended

I can fly in my dreams… but only if I flap my arms like a demented chicken. Like each flap gives a tiny bit of upward momentum so I'm fighting against gravity constantly and I'll eat shit if I get tired

When I was transported to another dimension. My hometown had black goop falling from the sky and when I looked up, I saw a ceiling made of stone. There were holes in this stone that led up to darkness. The buildings in the small town were changed to ancient stone buildings but retained their layout. When I came out of one after exploring it, the sky had changed from a stone ceiling to planet surfaces that were stuck inside one another. There were also hundreds of lights in the sky that looked like stars and were moving around in front of the planets. It's not exactly my best dream since I've had ones where I was happy, but this one stuck with me the most since its so surreal.
