This is a bidet though

An unofficial chapter of the popular Dull Men's Club.
1. Relevant commentary on your own dull life. Posts should be about your own dull, lived experience. This is our most important rule. Direct questions, random thoughts, comment baiting, advice seeking, many uses of "discuss" rarely comply with this rule.
2. Original, Fresh, Meaningful Content.
3. Avoid repetitive topics.
4. This is not a search engine
Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”.
There are a number of content specific communities with subject matter experts who can help you.
Some other communities to consider before posting:
5. Keep it dull. If it puts us to sleep, it’s on the right track. Examples of likely not dull: jokes, gross stuff (including toes), politics, religion, royalty, illness or injury, killing things for fun, or promotional content. Feel free to post these elsewhere.
6. No hate speech, sexism, or bullying No sexism, hate speech, degrading or excessively foul language, or other harmful language. No othering or dehumanizing of anyone or negativity towards any gender identity.
7. Proofread before posting. Use good grammar and punctuation. Avoid useless phrases. Some examples: - starting a post with "So" - starting a post with pointless phrases, like "I hope this is allowed" or “this is my first post” Only share good quality, cropped images. Do not share screenshots of images; share the original image.

This is a bidet though

A toilet attachment is still a kind of bidet.
I have a similar one right next to my bidet. There's no way I'm going back there. It even has a fan, ya hear me? A fan!
I couldn't live without one.
It's so much cleaner and you save so much money and it has other uses too.
What other uses? Lol
😏
Shouldn't that outlet, be a GFI outlet? Literally to uh, save your ass.
Most likely behind a GFCI outlet. Usually, its the one closest to the door and everything else daisy chains off of it.
Maybe even outlets in other rooms! That's really fun when a random outlet stops working
I know of a house that has the upstairs bathroom daisychained off of the downstairs kitchen. They are not above/below each other.
I'll never understand why that much wire routing is worth a $20 GFCI.
It could be connected in line with a GFCI outlet or breaker.
Get ready for the experience of traveling, needing a shit and then realizing there won't be a bidet.
Vacations are so much less enjoyable now. Like it shouldn't ruin my whole experience, but it kinda does.
Go to Japan, ig?
You can use a portable bidet. It's not as good as a mounted one but still.
as an arab you couldn't imagine my shock when i travelled abroad and experienced the joy of hemorrhoids for the first time lol
They say travel reveals new sides of your self.
I spend a lot of time working away from the office at sites.
I have a bidet at home and specifically save my shits for when I get home.
My ass just dosnt feel properly clean these days if I have to shit like a commoner.
I once heard the phrase "a water fountain for your butthole" and hear it every time I see one.
I'm so jealous.
For those who hesitate making the investment, portable squirt bottles for this purpose are available for less than $25.
Vietnam has a good way of doing it. You just tee in one of those kitchen sink sprayer heads to the water supply. You could even tee it off from the bathroom sink warm water.
Looks like the spray heads are $11-15, plus a hose and a tee fitting.
India too. Lots of Asia went this route. "bum gun" where I've been. It was a real blessing when I got food poisoning.
Confused congrats from Germany.
Is that really what you call a bidet? Because our bidets here are unrelated to the toilet and that's a Japanese toilet. The bidet is the one for washing https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bidet.
I seriously do not understand the cultural reluctance to adopting the bidet. After using one it becomes instantly clear how awful the alternative is.
