President Trump thinks that a decision Joe Biden made two years ago is the reason for the U.S. munitions shortage—not his costly and unpopular war on Iran.

“They talk about munitions—and we’re fine with munitions, we’re fine. But the reason it would be lower—and we’re building them like crazy—but the reason it’s low is [Joe Biden] gave three hundred billion dollars worth to Ukraine,” Trump said on the Real America’s Voice network Tuesday morning.

Holy shit, he looks 3 minutes away from death in that picture. I admit I haven't seen the most recent pictures of him, but I don't recall him looking this haggard.

It's an old photoshop though.

Why did Joe Biden shit my pants?

[–] spaghettiwestern@sh.itjust.works 104 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (5 children)

This seems to be a Trump problem, but it's really not. Trump is the undisputed standard bearer for all Republicans - each and every one of them fully supports his insanity and allows it to continue. They know they've put a literal child rapist in charge and have done nothing but protect him and everyone else in the Epstein files.

Trump's image should replace the elephant as the mascot of the GOP.

Conservatives value in-group solidarity more than almost anything else. That's like their defining characteristic.

Incidentally, that's almost always characteristic of a bad person. The antithesis of "love your neighbor", for example.

It's literally the definition of facism. It's what a fasces is, a group of sticks.

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

It's also why they're winning, we have no solidarity on our side

[–] 13igTyme@piefed.social 3 points 1 week ago

Your comment reminded me of a book a read a long time ago about the psychology of politics. There was a whole chapter about how Republicans find I easier to all agree with each other.

Well, had the Biden Justice Dept actually done their fucking job, Trump would be in prison right now and our munitions stockpiles would be where they should be. So sure, Biden should shoulder some of the blame.

Yeah, but not all of the blame though

[–] OwOarchist@pawb.social 49 points 1 week ago (1 children)

In tomorrow's news, Trump discovers that someone has shat his pants, blames Biden.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 week ago

Bullshit. LIES. Fake news.
We all know that Obama is the one who shits the fat orange paedos pants, and not Joe "Let's take the slowest possible way to prosecute the orange Fatboy" Biden.

Making sure I have enough missiles seems to be the kind of thing I would take care of before launching a war against military superpower but what do I know

[–] Eldritch@piefed.world 23 points 1 week ago (1 children)

He's always had a low missile count and an undersized launcher.

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

Hmm. People have described it as mushroom-like, and what to nukes cause? You may be on to something.

I don't want it, mind, you can keep it, but still. heh

Well he did think he could roll through Iran in a weekend sooooo

[–] fizzle@quokk.au 44 points 1 week ago (2 children)

So just to recap, no one will negotiate with him and he's run out of sticks, so having increased the price of everything everywhere in the world that's just how things are now.

Well done Americans.

[–] atlasraven@sh.itjust.works 18 points 1 week ago

Best thing you can do is toss our diplomats out and stop trading with us. Don't even talk about our wannabe dictator.

[–] MagicShel@lemmy.zip 10 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Yeehaw! You smelling that freedom yet?

.... is what I'd say if I were one of our resident morons.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

Ah luv the smell of freedumb in the mernin.

[–] PRIMEcavitationfetishist@quokk.au 38 points 1 week ago (3 children)

How dare Barack Obama do this.

[–] Itdidnttrickledown@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

They should arrest clinton for this outrage.

[–] stringere@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Only after Carter gets indicted.

Yeah.

[–] MrEff@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago (1 children)

The real enabler here is JFK. Someone should do something about him...

Death to Roosevelt! How dare he use all those munitions!

[–] WhatsHerBucket@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

There’s plenty to go around

[–] stumu415@lemmy.zip 30 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Are you sure it's not Obama's fault?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

"How did Obama the Kenyan Usurper use up all our missiles like that?"

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

He was hiding them all in his tan suit.

Might be FDR

[–] hoppeduponcoffee@lemmy.zip 28 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

The main thing to go after Biden for is not throwing this MF in Gitmo.

[–] mojofrododojo@lemmy.world 5 points 6 days ago

throw him in gitmo, then give gitmo back to cuba and let them have him.

please.

Remember his party spent all their time making sure nothing was ever sent... So every member of their party knows he's lying.

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 14 points 1 week ago

nono, for the sake of discussion, sure, man, Biden gave away munitions.

Okay. So.

Why the fuck didn't you replenish them in all the time you've been in office? Hmm?

[–] DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

"Costly and unpopular" doesn't begin to describe the mess he made over there.

Pulled out of Afghanistan, found the second stage reverse castle boss of 'graveyard of empires'

[–] artyom@piefed.social 5 points 1 week ago

Of course he does. Ya ever seen him take accountability for anything at all?

[–] TryingToBeGood@reddthat.com 4 points 1 week ago

Dozy Donnie says what, now?
