~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

Part of me hates that this is happening.
The rest of me is all, “It’s still 2025!! If we have the Bell Riots now we’re still on-pace for a Star Trek future!!”
I think we're on track for the dark universe ... because we're more likely to do this ...
... rather than this ...
It’s called Mirror Universe.
I hope we survive WW3 and the eugenics war.
Me too, I hope my child survives the seemingly inevitable wars that are looming within his lifetime.
But more importantly, I think Humanity will survive. This is a test, one that evolution makes impossible to avoid. If we survive this trial by fire, we will scatter and thrive amongst the stars and prepare for the next test.
Am I being too dreamy? It’s all Star Trek’s fault. :)
Or we will scatter amongst the earth and spend the next several centuries trying not to die of radiation poisoning.

Our universe's lack of Eugenics Wars in the 90s was already pretty strong evidence that we're not living in the prime timeline.
