Coming soon: Purple Kill Bill, only on Netflix™.

There's worse typecasts than badass katana lady, I suppose.

Yeah, nothing against Uma Thurman. It just seems like the stereotype of what a market analyst would come up with if asked to make a movie poster.

Actors are professionals, I don't blame them for working for Netflix. It's not like it's worse than the Weinstein company. I just wish the production companies of streaming platforms weren't so goddamn soulless.

Netflix: No we have kill bill 3 at home

If it wasn't her I'd probably write this off completely. What an uninspired poster!

It’s pretty bad. Oversharpened photoslop, really lazy ass design that tells me nothing about what the movie is about.

It better be a movie about swords and dust

She looks bored out of her mind lol, "c'mon Uma you can do this, think about the swimming pool this movie's gonna pay for..."

Great action flick! Being reminded of the fate of that drowning lady still sends shivers down my spine.

She went to the Final Fantasy school of belts.

Twinned with the Wil Wheaton school of watches:

Then some fucked up toes.

Preschool maybe, look at all that head, arms and upper body that could be covered in belts.

She didn’t graduate. Ran out of scholar ship funds for buckles.

[–] UltraMagnus0001@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

She looks bad ass.

Old Guard 2: Big Toe Boogaloo

[–] teejay@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

Hey did she ever manage to blow out that lit match?

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca -1 points 2 months ago

I love that she's specifically wielding a katana: it's like a big f-u to the movie where she got so injured due to ad-hoc stunts.

Loved Old Guard (1), and not just because Charlize is another force of nature like Uma.
