If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

I was wondering when they'd land down here, and I'm not sure Baton Rouge or New Orleans are good places to try these stunts. Perfect place to lose some of your guys or at least find out how many people have unregistered firearms. Oh, ya'll didn't check to see if these people are "Constitutional Carry" participants.... Seems like something you'd not want to try around these parts.

I don't think there is a federal law, just some state laws and you can complicate those by using federal officers. This is the best summary I've seen:

Haven’t there already been documented cases of thieves dressing up this way? And the FBI also reportedly warned DHS/ICE that this was likely to happen if they continued to cover their faces etc.
I think it's moreso been rapists so far. I have been saying that the quickest way to get the masks off ICE is to have people dress up as ICE and rob white businesses.
Every single incident needs to be documented, recorded, reported, stored safely.

If you watch the whole video one of the ICE kidnappers was hispanic. The step dad (?) of the girl calls him out. Wild.
About 30% of all people, regardless of descent, are Authoritarians. They'll gladly sign up to hurt others when told to and assume they'll be rewarded by the dictator for their loyalty. Even when the whole basis of the cruelty is on race, there's always Quislings lining up to be oppressors assuming they won't be on the firing line later when the conservatives run out of other outsiders to kill off.
White Fascism is a death cult. Anyone participating is first killing everyone around them, and then themselves. They are not to be trusted.
That is a very interesting statistic. I've always thought that some qualities were distributed across populations regardless of race, income, etc. Do you have a source for the 30% stat?

He studied authoritarian attitudes and other related behaviors for decades. The book came out on the heels of the end of the George W. Bush presidency. He absolutely called the future of the Republican party / Conservative movement we have today as it morphs into a full on fascist administration.
Very highly recommended reading, designed for more laypeople then pure researchers, and is spot on for the situation we're in.
