I discovered The Librarian trilogy, which are an excellent blend of cheesy yet fun movie.
Highly recommend, they’ve got good pacing and likable characters.

Didn’t those star Noah Wiley? If so I loved those.
Yes, I was trying to place him then realized he was Noah from The Pitt (fantastic show)
Oh yes!!! It is my current favorite show!
I watched Plur1bus. It really is an excellent show. Now I have to wait 2 years for a second season 😭
Black Bag
I heard it was good when it came out but I stumbled upon it and decided to give it a try. It didn’t overstay its welcome and I enjoyed the intrigue.
This week, I borrowed the new Fantastic Four movie from the library and watched it last night. I enjoyed it, it’s definitely better than earlier iterations. Partner wasn’t too happy about Galactica “he’s supposed to be bigger than a skyscraper!” I agree with that, but overall, I thought it was entertaining.
Now I’m waiting for my hold on The Thunderbolts to show up. I’m trying to limit our subscriptions so I’m getting all I can from the library because libraries rock!
Finally finished Animal Kingdom. Might go back to red ball chair company.
Seasons 1-3 of Animal Kingdom are so excellent.
The fourth season was pretty good, the flash backs to young Smurf were really good and there was enough modern day story.
I gave up in the fifth season. The show spent way too much time on the flashbacks.
I went to see the bone temple last weekend and it was just as good as the last movie! Highly recommend! But now I'm temporarily stuck at my parents house while renovations are done on my own and they insisted I watch the beanie bubble. It was ok which pretty much sums up all the things my parents like to watch these days.
Recently I've been watching the Fallout show as it airs, and I just caught up on the first 2 episodes of Frieren season 2 yesterday
I am watching Fallout as well and I am way behind. I only watch one episode a week and I am way behind. I am on E2 as well. The show is great.
Red Sonja, the new one. MUCH better than I expected, very fun movie, held back by budget. Some structural issues here and there that suggest to me that it may have originally been planned as a series or more than one movie. Very good final confrontation. Could've lived without the "atheist because god was mean to me" thing but oh well.
Deathstalker, the new one. I see what they were trying to do but fuck this was stupid and not in the good stupid way of the old ones. At least Daniel Bernhardt had fun.
Tron Ares. 🫠
TekWar Tekjustice. Don't we all feel a bit masochistic every once in a while? The best remedy is putting on some TekWar. This one is a low point in that it's a very confused court room thing that makes no sense and has basically no science-fiction. Already excited for the complete and utter nonsense that I'm sure TekWar Teklab is going to be as well and oh boy oh boy I can't wait for the series 🎶 Are you real or not 🎵
As You Like It, 2006. This one made me angry at the way Japan was used as decoration and nothing else. I can absolutely get behind transporting Shakespeare plays into a different time and place but if the change adds no value whatsoever (and might actually detract from the story), what's the fucking point? Fucking hell, Branagh. What the fuck. Couldn't even use Brian Blessed properly.
The Witches from 2020. Yeah, I guess.
Finally got around to starting She-Hulk, 5 episodes in and now committed to watching everything the Critical Drinker and his lot don't like because that's clear indication that it's going to be at least good and might even be some of the most fun I had.
Bonus: Masters of the Universe trailer - very little of substance to go on, but it does seem like they'll be on Earth for a shorter time than I had feared. Also, people already yelling about it being "woke" and "male Barbie" is highly entertaining. So very much looking forward to all the weirdos impotently raging at female Roboto and especially He/Him-Man ❤️
Watched His & Hers on Netflix. It was only 6 episodes (which I appreciated), moved along at a good pace, and kept me guessing until the end.
2014 tv series called The Strain.
TV feels like it’s changed a lot since then.
Been kinda busy so couldn't watch much, but found some time to watch The Fruitless Quests of Nabiu episode 2, and some more of Yu Yu Hakusho season 3. Been liking both. 👌
The first episode of The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins wasn't as bad as feared. Looking forward to that secon episode.
I started watching Slow Horses, a British Spy thriller about MI5 rejects. 3 episodes in and finding it pretty interesting.
