Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

lmao, didnt know what to expect. but its just a picture where she looks downwards at a turkey and a bit of double chin forms while she's smiling. probably the most human picture of her i've ever seen.

anyway dont get distracted by this bullshit. ice is still terrorizing neighborhoods and a warmongering pedophile is still president.

I don’t get it. That’s… what she looks like. She couldn’t look less normal.

They must be concerned that someone might compare Levitt to the turkey that's holding her kid.

Per the article Drinky Pete didn’t like his photos either

[–] newthrowaway20@lemmy.world 35 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

Someone should Photoshop that last one and make his mouth just slightly bigger. Like enough to be noticeable, but not so much that it's unbelievable.

I'm on my phone now or I'd do it

Too large to be donvict's mushroom.

[–] Buddahriffic@lemmy.world 10 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

First one works better. Second one sets off my fake detector but the first one goes under the radar.

[–] Feathercrown@lemmy.world 8 points 2 weeks ago

The first one is juuuust subtle enough that you might not question it.

[–] newthrowaway20@lemmy.world 6 points 2 weeks ago

I’m wondering how it would look slightly grainy and in black and white. And if he had like a black arm band.

I don't give a fuck about some stupid photo when Epstein's client list is running the country.

[–] GalacticSushi@piefed.blahaj.zone 26 points 2 weeks ago

Plot twist: they were leaked by Noem to distract from her husband's crossdressing photos.

At least that's what I'll tell myself because the thought of this ghoulish administration collapsing from infighting causes a calming sensation to wash over me.

[–] Tylerdurdon@lemmy.world 21 points 2 weeks ago

She's lying in this picture. You know how I know? Her mouth is open.

[–] cerebralhawks@lemmy.dbzer0.com 17 points 2 weeks ago

These all just look like regular people to me. They may be monsters, but they're not exceptionally attractive or unattractive. They just look like your typical professional person.

Attractive people are nice to look at, sure, but accepting that, we must also accept that they are exceptional because they are uncommon, and thus most people not being that attractive are also valid. As opposed to expecting that people be attractive. In fact, I'd say most presidents are unattractive people. Kennedy and Obama being exceptions, but, I am not attracted to men, so I'm a little skewed on saying which ones are better looking. Those two were just less ugly. And I don't mean what they did, I just mean their physical appearance.

Don't see her problem. Its nice to see her pretending to be a human for once rather than a ball sack's mouthpiece.

oh my god, who the hell cares. There's enough absolutely INSANE shit that these people do that we can focus on actions and policy instead of stupid vain bullshit.

Slurred speech yesterday in the address is an excellent example. The neverending war for absolutely nothing. The attack on the constitution currently ongoing in the supreme court...

[–] pivot_root@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

Authoritarians need to project an appearance of peerless strength, intelligence, and infallibility. The people who fanatically believe their policies will directly lead to what was promised aren't doing it on the basis of those policies, but instead on the trust of the confident strongman who made them.

She looks normal. Rightwing people are so weird.

[–] Atelopus-zeteki@fedia.io 2 points 2 weeks ago

I'm convinced it's all for distraction.

[–] myster0n@feddit.nl 4 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

She's the one on the right (of course)

[–] SuiXi3D@fedia.io 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Our right or their right? Sorry, it’s hard to tell.

[–] Atelopus-zeteki@fedia.io 2 points 2 weeks ago

Fuzzy out of focus pic, no wonder the 'powers that be' sought to suppress it. Poor gobbler!

[–] tinfoilhat@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 weeks ago

The issue is that every photo of KKKaroline is unflattering .

[–] santa@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 weeks ago

Stephen Colbert projected it on their ceiling after opening in a multi-image fan like display.

[–] 0ndead@infosec.pub 2 points 2 weeks ago

She’s up next to get fired
