I propose every woman on capitol hill carry a 4 inch triangular knife. Any lawmakers with triangle shaped holes need a public flogging followed by prison, if they survive the unstitchable wound.

“Go to church, find Jesus. Like, why is everybody so horny here?” Boebert said to reporters outside the Capitol on Thursday, April 16, before walking away.

While they're right to fight these issues, it's real hard not to comment on the lack of self awareness here.

“Here” meaning the Beetlejuice! Musical?

[–] pticrix@lemmy.ca 12 points 1 day ago

Indeed, that is the event I was thinking of! Have a cookie 🍪

The same Boebert that is currently married to the guy that publicly exposed himself to her when she was underaged?

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 2 points 8 hours ago

That's not even half of the worst of it

Not anymore she divorced him recently. Then got caught and kicked out of a theater for dry humping her date during a live production of Beetlejuice. You know, a shining example of proper sexual conduct.

[–] drzoidberg@lemmy.world 54 points 1 day ago (1 children)

She was dry jerking her date. She probably would have dry humped him if she didn't get caught jerking the dude off over his pants.

I’d let the boebs do that to me she’s a gilf.

Yeah, it'd be a really long post to rehash all of the reasons this woman has zero business being a judge of character for sexual misconduct. It's akin to Trump's board of peace.

A broken (analogue) clock is right twice a day.

Bored of Peace (I stole that from the Internet)

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 3 points 1 day ago

And he was a DEMOCRAT, too!

She's a terrible rep, she sounds like a tasteless, exhausting, stupid person, yet she does not stand accused of victimizing anyone the way, say, Swalwell is.

So her stance here may be what some would call "ironic," but I don't think its hypocritical.

[–] Assassassin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 day ago

Loudly and actively publicly defending heinous sex offenders doesn't necessarily make you one, but it certainly makes you a hypocrite for acting like you want to stop them.

[–] TheGoldenV@lemmy.world 18 points 1 day ago

Well yeah. AOC is going to try to have them held accountable and Bigot Barbie is going to just hold them. You know, good cop bad cop.

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago (1 children)

...calls for sexual misconduct

GOP: We're in!

accountability...

GOP: We're out!

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 4 points 23 hours ago

GOP: "And btw, you are both too old to sexual assault anyways. So next time bring your daughters, or your daughter's daughter. And their friends. Or, you know, anyone really young!"

Wow, the proverb was right: politics do make strange bedfellows.

[–] Rolder@reddthat.com 21 points 1 day ago

Broken clock is right twice a day I suppose

[–] Bieren@lemmy.today 10 points 1 day ago

They could start in the White House and go down from there

[–] BigMacHole@thelemmy.club 19 points 1 day ago

Good! The LAST thing we need is ~~Members of Congress giving people Handjobs in Public!~~ Stuff!

-Lauren Boebert!

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I thought we just had some? Swalwell was gone in less than one Scarumucci.

How about some for the White House?

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 4 points 1 day ago

Swallwell has been around for quite a while. I actually liked the guy, I had no idea he was getting up to this kind of nonsense. He can just fuck off.

That's the difference between us and MAGA. We don't tolerate criminal activity, just because they're on our side. Replace him with someone we can trust. MAGA likes criminals in their ranks.

[–] devolution@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

The conservative about face only when it affects them directly is exhausting.

AOC should do this with you extreme caution.

[–] expatriado@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They can fuck right off to James Carville's octogenarian asshole where they belong.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world -2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

No! Nothing is allowed to be done by those who aren't 100% PURE

[–] PunnyName@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Are you advocating for sexual predators?
