I had nothing to do with voting them into power. I voted for decent people. Unfortunately myself and millions of others were drowned out by people who bought into the grift or saw them as an in to be able to say slurs and hate women, since that seems to be what they wanna do.

Usage and Exchange value (things are meant to be useful, but are sold primarily as commodities), ...Production and Consumption (too much is produced, but many - and an increasing number - cannot afford the goods). ..Competition and monopolies (everyone fights for market share until a few dominate everything) .technological progress and job losses (machines replace people, even though the economy is growing)....

Call me crazy, but I don't think the president should have the ability to fire all of these supposedly apolitical positions. The president should be walled off from those kind of decisions specifically to prevent the office from being able to hand out positions based on political loyalty and bribes. But maybe I'm just a kooky go nuts crazy guy.
Call me crazy, but what a stupid political system that puts the entire executive in the hands of one person.

We historically called those people Cesar, or Emperor, or King, and in Africa they call themselves President. I like to think he is more of a Robert Mungabe because of the ethnic cleansing, incompetence, and scapegoating with crimes against peace & humanity. Americans should start learning about Zimbabwe's history. There will be no outside force to occupy America and prevent lawlessness.
Isn’t that the whole problem here? We have all these walls to limit authoritarians, fascists, royalists but are discovering how easily they shatter when someone has no shame, no morals, no allegiance to anyone but themselves ignores their existence. We have this system of checks and balances to keep fascists in place, but are discovering how quickly they abdicate their responsibility and how symbolic that defense is
I genuinely don't think the next election will happen.
The takeaway for the next government here is essentially: we can do what we want, send anyone to jail, kill people on the street and nothing bad will happen, and no one in power will suffer any consequences.
If there is any way trump can achieve that, he will.
This last decade has driven home the fact that America isn't a "rule of law" so much as "prevailing norms that mainly get broken on the quiet" type of country.

Yep. Not big surprise. I'll keep my books and be sure to share them with those who wish to continue to do proper science. I didn't trust the government before the orange, now I know that I'm dealing with the mentality I'll and will treat them as such.
