Trump 2 for sure is undisputedly the worst.
I think he's the most hated living person in the history of the world, if you go by number of people who hate him. There were less than half as many people around when Hitler was alive.

As a Canadian, I used to sneer at the US like one would sneer at an immature sibling.
Now, "Made in the USA" feels dirty. I don't feel like the USA can recover its place of former global respect in my lifetime.
From inside, “Made in the USA” feels like it’s going to be us chained to paying 2x the cost for wildly inferior products. See for example, cars.

Remember, George Bush Jr was so hated that Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize simply for not being George Bush Jr.
The only thing scarier than Trump is someone of equal character but actually competent. I wanted to write ten times as competent at first, but then realized that's the same thing as Trump.
You can pick any president in history and find skeletons in their closets, and many have committed atrocities that far exceed any one thing that Trump has done, but Trump is actively dismantling the republic before our eyes and he will be remembered as in incompetent buffoon and his rise to power and his contributions to the end of American global hegemony will be studied by sociologists, historians and political scientists for ages to come.
And in 100 years time, when they teach about this period of time in schools, all the kids will be able to think is "How could anybody just let that happen?", yeah, it makes me irrationally upset about being lumped in with the people who abide by this farcical nonsense, or worse, with those who are actively participating in knowingly doing as much harm as possible.
To say I hate him is an understatement. I'm going to frame his obituary.
If we survive Trump. We will be weaker in so many ways. The institutions that underpin our democracy have been severely damaged. I also expect a severe economic downturn over the next few years.
I worry that the next Republican President will be younger more calculating and energetic. They will look at the Trump era as a blueprint for taking permanent political control of an already damaged system.
I believe that the best years of our country are behind us. The erosion of the ethical values of those serving in public office the 'acceptance of daylight corruption,' betrayal of our allies, and the attack on education, intellectualism, and renewable energy will set us back for a long time.
Whoever comes next will be blamed for the state of the economy and the government.
There's just one sliver of hope: When Trump keels over the Republicans will tear each other qpart like cats in a bag. That's your opportunity. You have to get the right people in, you (the "left of MAGA", basically normies) will win an easy landslide just that one time..
I'm British and this is what happened here - the right briefly in disaray allowed our centre-left party to win big. Just once.. now Labour are blamed for everything and are getting destroyed in the polls.

Every time I read something like this I get a little closer to 'No, no I will die before that happens'.
Certainly in my lifetime.
I think W Bush painted the world black and white when there is nuance. You're either with us against us. Started two very unpopular wars and dragged Nato members in. Caused mass immigration to Europe from leading to the raise of people like Bannon, Trump and Farage. The entire far right really. For me, Bush was the catalyst that led us to where we are right now and is the worse president. But even I think I am wrong cause my memory doesn't go back much further.
And worse of all. Bush didn't even win. Roger Stone literally stormed the recount, Bushes brother shut the count down and the supreme court went cool, cool, cool. Been hating ever since the shocking lack of democracy in America. And the fact that some anti abortion Gun nut in some swing state determines how many of my friends will die in wars, how much petrol will cost and how much food will cost due to sheer greed of the owner class in America.
So for me. Bush 2. Trump just let the world see the corruption in day light where the others kept it in the dark.

He was the worst at the time but Trump is far worse. Trump's corruption is unprecedented. Reagan would be called a communist if he ran today. Reagan's answer to Americans complaining about illegal immigration was amnesty and legal permanent residency for all.
Reagan was crazy enough to sit down and work with people like Tip O'Neil (democrat speaker of the house). I can't imagine any republican doing that now.

There's no fucking way Bush is worse than Trump. It's not even close.
No child left behind leading to a nation without critical thinking. Guantanamo bay. Imprison who the fuck you want without consequence. Making it law to invade the ICC if any American soldier is ever held to accountability. Crashing the entire global economy by relaxing laws on banks and investors. I mean Bush was pretty awful. Trump is just dumb as bricks walking in the same path set by Bush.
The bank thing that lead to the eventual collapse was a Clinton thing.

The most hated, and probably the last of this United States. Odds are that we would have a new nation or many that would replace this abominable thing.
Until relatively recently, I would have said it's a toss up between Regan and Trump (Jackson, Nixon, and both Bush's have their hats in the ring though). But honestly looking at things now, I think the damage this current administration has done will have really horrific negative effects for the next 2, maybe 3 generations. So yeah, Trump wins the "worst president ever" contest. All he needs is a couple more genocides and maybe a world war under his belt to unseat Hitler/Mussolini for the worst human to ever live contest. Seriously, Hitler and Mussolini would be so proud of America right now, it's fucking enraging.

Trump made Bezos, Gates, Musk, et al ridiculously happy. He's easy to manipulate, greedy, serves their interests... and best of all, he acts as magnificent misdirection and takes a lot of blame for things he's really too dumb to have anything to do with.
Around the world, people will sigh with relief when he's dead... but those who financed and empowered him will be untouched and unacknowledged for the most part.

Definitely not. China has a massive population and they love him.
Some presidents have arguably done worse things than Trump (so far), but I'm not sure if they were more hated at the time. Trump has probably done more damage to the institutions of the US than any other president in history; which will probably result in a new dark era.
Trump's administration has done more to institutional damage to the US military than any adversary we've had since WW2.
He'll still have fans after he is gone, just like there are old men who still pine for Stalin and Hitler.
I don't know about domestically, but if you look at him at an international level, he's a slam dunk for that title.
