Summary

Former McNairy County Sheriff’s deputy Connor Brackin, 24, has been fired and charged with seven counts of aggravated animal cruelty and eight counts of reckless endangerment after allegedly shooting seven dogs during an animal welfare check in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.

Brackin, who had been on the job for less than a month, reportedly released one dog to the welfare caller before killing the others for unknown reasons.

Following a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation probe, Brackin turned himself in and was released on bond.

Cops kill thousands of dogs a year in the U.S. and almost no one outside those of us who have issues with cops in general already seems to give a shit.

I would be going to prison or dead shortly after discovering that cops killed my dogs.

I care more about my dogs than I do about the vast majority of humans. And I care about humans way more than cops.

I have reasoned this is why some do it.

High personal damage, zero legal consequences.

working for less than a month... allowed to walk around with a human killing device.

hairdressers require more certification and supervision than police 'officers'.

(Referencing what appears to be a Captain America shirt he's wearing in the booking photo)

Yes, that's exactly what Steve Rogers would have done. /s

Same as the thin blue liners with punisher tattoos. They're not in it for the backstories or the morals

Weird, they just let a psycho killer be a cop? I'm sure they'll prevent that in the future.

His application to join the ATF is looking pretty strong though.

I wonder what else he did to end up charged with crimes instead of just fired? One of those bullets must have gone through a kids bedroom or something, or the call was to a close friend of an official.
