Same as all the elections since Republicans stole the 2000 election. Voters suppression and misinformation propaganda have kept them in the spotlight.
I am confident that this most recent election was rigged simply based on how nothing has been reported on invetigations of the areas where the election deniers were running the show and Republicans are constantly projecting their worst behavior. The fact that they claim prior elections were stolen is a solid sign they were planning on stealing one and this would be the one because it aligns with Project 2025.
They will absolutely be leaning into more voter suppression and will be emboldened to alter the actual vote counts themselves to make it look like their voting ratio is even higher.
I also strongly believe that the last election was rigged, and am worried that no one really seems to be looking into it. Between Trump's own claims that he would win no matter what and Elon "It's just one line of code" Musk there is enough to be concerned with. Most likely, I think they simply didn't count a bunch of Dem votes.

Yes but there needs to be some appetite from politicians, Dems seemed completely unwilling to entertain the idea it may have been rigged, perhaps out of fear they would be compared to Trump in 2020. All the noise about election rigging has been about people voting when they couldn't or dead people voting and the like, no one is really talking about simply not counting votes. Meanwhile, we're told that turnout for 2024 was relatively low, and yet the lines out of the polls that I saw were always heaving.

He accused Zelenskyy of this, which to me says he'll definitely do it himself

the fix is already in.
It has been for years, especially if all this info about the extremely insecure voting machines, starlink, ballot manipulating code, stingrays, etc is true, which it seems to be.
I cannot for the life of me understand why none of the dems in power are talking about this election being fixed. Other countries have spoken up about the same thing happening to them. At least one has demanded new elections. There seems to be plenty of evidence that this happened in the U.S., so why would they refuse to acknowledge it? Do they think people won't believe them? They keep trying to play by rules that conservatives have long since abandoned. I just don't understand anything anymore.
Because they spent the last four years with the conservatives falsely claiming it for 2020 and want to look like they're taking the high road by accepting the results and making a big show about doing a peaceful transfer of power

The fact that compromised states like Texas and Florida are pending makes me think this will be a mechanism for right wing fuckery.

Everyone needs to be contacting their reps about election security. It's obvious the last election was rigged, and they are confident they can do it again with money or otherwise. We should all be in the ear of our elected officials about improving election security, because it starts at the county level.

Not surprising tbh.
I'm expecting him to falsely claim election fraud tomorrow after the exit polls in Germany close. If the result isn't AfD at 99%, he'll probably demand new elections and/or only recognize Weidel as Chancellor instead of Merz.

I think the fraud in the midterms will be so rampant you won't even know where to start to counter it all. At the end of the day the choice will be throw out all the votes and hold a second vote or accept the outcome. This will just be in areas where suppression hasn't already sealed the deal. So, while maybe a few of these smaller elections get sorted, any of the elections that did get blown up and slip through will be gains.
You have to understand, they are going for complete control from top to bottom. It doesn't matter how successful they are because there is nothing you can do can to wrench away their established power. When the election committees move to fix the damage done they will be completely on their own. Since the systems they've always relied on will have been dismantled they won't be able to act fast enough.
On election night some two years from now, you better be ready to do one of two things. Join the already growing factions to oppose the federal government or accept you live under authoritarian rule.
Surprises in politics are rarely good for the majority.
Looking over the Daily Mail (ugh), it sounds more like he expects a red wave. He says we're in for a surprise, but that's the kind of shit they always say.
That's not to say they won't reuse their bullshit playbook (lies, voter intimidation, etc) but so far the most pressing issue we have in the midterms in all states are just milquetoast neolib Democrats running the party, likely to thumb the scales on primary season yet again. You raise the energy of the opposition and the opposition will practically camp overnight in line to cast a vote (and volunteer to vote count, etc).
A CBS News poll last week found voters are giving Trump high marks for his first month in office.
Uh. Polling for the week of 16-22 February shows that he has a net disapproval rating a few points higher than his net approval rating. For a president barely out of the first month of their presidency, that's a historic low. This is likely to drop even more as inflation increases, and prices also increase; prices must increase to absorb the cost of tariffs, and that's been a cornerstone of his economic policy agenda.
Half serious question: can Trump order state borders to be modified? He wouldn’t be creating/destroying a state…I really don’t know the practical limits of presidential power anymore.
He absolutely does not have the authority, nor is there anyone at the federal level to do so.
But it doesn't mean he won't try anyway, or that anyone would stop him.
(The rare occasions of a state possibly splitting have come from within the state itself)
