Difficult choice. I like Fozzie's bad joke schtick, and Statler & Waldorf are classic, but I think my heart truly belongs to Dr. Teeth and by extension all of The Electric Mayhem.

I second that
Swedish Chef

Tim Curry
Ah yeah the classic: Michael Caine acted like the muppets were normal people and Tim curry acted like he was also a muppet.
Statler & Waldorf.
Boooo
Kermit. And before you call that a boring pick, might I remind you that this man is the head of what is essentially an art collective from the 70s. He knows how to have fun.

Gonzo the Great.
This, a million times this

This. A terrible surgeon by all accounts, but laid-back and entirely competent as a musician.
Fozzie also proved to be a competent pianist, but his personality, or at least his "on" stage persona, well, that leaves something to be desired.
Fozzie is a great comedian, if your idea of a great comedian is someone that tells bad jokes and knows how to take a few tomatoes to the face.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Fozzie, in fact I think I kind of want to give the guy a hug.
The man (or rather, bear) just wants to be loved after all. He wants to make people laugh and have them be happy. He's the clown with a touch of melancholy, and might even be in my top 10. He's just not top of the list.
Beaker and Swedish Chef are also amazing, but this is most certainly one of my favourites:

mine is risotto
Rizzo the Rat is unfortunately gone. His original creator and performer, Steve Whitmire, was dismissed by Disney in 2016 and they haven't announced plans to hire a new performer for Rizzo since.
On the Muppets shows and movies, they've fully replaced Rizzo with Pepe the King Prawn. He's Gonzo's new annoying sidekick.
Me personally, I've always been a Kermit fan. He's exactly like me, personality-wise. And I've definitely dated a Miss Piggy or two over the years...
Oh no! I love Pepe but he's no Rizzo. That's heartbreaking.
Dr. Teeth. “Golden teeth and golden tones, welcome to my presence.”

Pepe. The whole concept of a prawn Muppet is amazing.

My lovable, furry old pal Grover
Seconding Grover. His adventures are the best!
I learned all about spatial relations from Grover. He nailed the near-far conundrum.
Im not a fighter, I'm a Grover.
Sweetums.
Sam the Eagle

Are we talking muppet muppets? Or can we go all old fashioned?
If so my choice is Big Bird.
Beaker.
The only one that counts. I'll show myself out. . .
Lew Zealand
A true fan here.
Yup. Didn't include a picture because if you don't know who he is, you have already failed.
Lew is right up there with Crazy Harry.
Did somebody say Crazy Harry? KaBOOM
ANIMAL!
And Fozzy the Bear
The count or oscar
Animal for sure. But also really the entire band.
Although a large part of that comes from the best Robot Chicken Sketch in their entire series...
Rizo and Gonzo. Don't make me pick just one.
I could narrow down maybe but no way I could come down to one. I mean even the ones who only appeared a few times are in the running.
Donald Grump
Dave, down at the p mart.
what a minging muppet.
Steve Buscemi.
