well - considering the “assassination attempt” on Trump, and how anyone speaking against the regime is a “domestic terrorist,” my money is on the idea that very soon there will be some ICE agents that have an encounter with “ANTIFA thugs,” and this is where martial law will be declared.
Trump is insane right now, and he is big mad that he’s not getting his way in Switzerland; he’s getting bullied right back, and he’s starting to see that people are laughing at him.

People have killed cops and got off free of charge to protect their rights. Cops. Real agents of a legitimate state.
If ICE agents were smart they would refuse to do this. Sooner or later someone is going to defend their home against these goons, using lethal force. The government is deliberately putting these morons in harm's way so they can use the death of an agent as political currency; people like Miller care so little about ICE agents that they wish to see them dead.
MAGAmind have their hands clasped in excitement. They want the violence in the streets. We can’t win direct conflict with their goons. We must not give them what they want. We must circumvent their foot soldiers, and seek direct action against their masters. Make it clear to everyone: go after the money
That's all the excuse they need to ratchet this up another notch.
You could look at Renee Good and see that they need no pretext at all to shoot and kill without repercussions. "Don't feed the troll" isn't a great strategy when it's already gnawing on your leg.
I realized a bit after posting that they'll do what they want anyway without repercussions, so yea, you're right.

Sounds like a fine way to end up eating a buckshot sandwich, but I'm not one to interrupt my enemy while they're making a mistake.
They know who has guns. They're going after people who don't.
Love to be proven wrong, though.
Contrary to what many people may believe, while I'm sure the government has an idea of who has guns and who doesn't, I doubt that idea accurately reflects reality. There are lots of ways in the US to get or make a gun that don't involve anything beyond cash changing hands.
It's only a matter of time.
Just a reminder that "the government" now includes Palantir's dystopian surveillance suite. You can be sure that every target has a confidence rating assigned to it as to what kind of resistance can be expected. The small percentage of people that maintain a low enough profile to be able to be armed without having any sort of red flag attached are likely to be assigned a low confidence rating. Yes, there will always be a chance that there's a mismatch. But the goons on the ground are being sent after the lowest hanging fruit. They may be mouth breathing meatsacks, but the ones calling the shots are not.

Castle doctrine says otherwise.
Sir, this is ~~a Wendy's~~ Minnesota. There's no castle doctrine, but rather a duty to retreat.
I could absolutely be wrong about this because I’ve never really looked it up, but I thought “duty to retreat” still allowed use of lethal force once there is nowhere left to retreat (for example, once in your own home).
Part of those pesky “inalienable rights”.

Incorrect. Minnesota has a castle doctrine for defending your home, a duty to retreat in public.
Duty to retreat does not apply when you are already in your own home. It's only when you are in public or outside of the protection of your own home.
I understand, however in the article it states "The shift comes as the Trump administration dramatically expands immigration arrests nationwide..."
There's a reason this started in areas such as Minnesota. I fully believe this is just trial runs and laying the (il)legal framework to handle more difficult areas.
"Nationwide" is sanewashing. It's really expanding specifically to blue states (because its real purpose is punishing the regime's political enemies).

Well I have a memo deauthorizing it, it's just as legally enforceable as theirs.
How long till they break into a home and find themselves in the midst of a boobytrap. Nice bucket of paint over the door, that sort of thing. Nothing harmful, just a bucket of yellow paint to mark the cowards for what they are. This is clearly criminal behavior, and needs to stop.
