As noted elsewhere, there's only 25-30k total being produced and only for people who apply in person in DC. You're not going to get one of these unexpectedly.

I am somewhat surprised it's not just a 'which one would you like'. I wouldn't have thought the logistical concerns would be that major?
I think the point is to make it more likely that people who like Trump will get passports, and less likely for people who don't like Trump. Then when you say that voters need to have passports to vote, you have a structural advantage.

I had to renew mine this year and the first thing I did when I got it was to check for bullshit like this.

If the US can decide my passport isn't valid because it has an F on it, other countries should be able to decide any passport with his shit smear on it is also invalid.
Countries can refuse a passport for any reason.
