By 16 I was adult sized... The dwarfism thing could be true if they're not adult sized lol

[–] NocturnalMorning@lemmy.world 3 points 2 hours ago

He looks like an 8 year old kid.

[–] merdaverse@lemmy.zip 6 points 5 hours ago

I mean, you gotta love the energy and eagerness. Would probably vote for him

[–] hansolo@lemmy.today 2 points 4 hours ago

Nigeria has a few popular actors who have dwarfism. Pawpaw being by far the most famous.

Little guy was just trying to draft on Pawpaw - and the people loved it!

Is he more educated and has better politics than his colleagues tho? That's more important than age

Man this is the kind of political scandal I need. Not one where a rapist conman pedophile bankrupt businessman is just straight up robbing the Treasury.

[–] biofaust@lemmy.world 0 points 2 hours ago

Why do you people keep calling him a businessman?

[–] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 40 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Seriously.

Give me something truly absurd. Not dangerously absurd.

I’m upset that I cannot find that tweet about someone not wanting new, psychotic Joker, but rather old, campy Joker who runs for Mayor of Gotham just so he can pass stupid laws and make people follow them.

Watchoo talkin' bout?

[–] rozodru@piefed.world 81 points 1 day ago

Okay so they actually do have dwarfism. That person is 16 years old and should be pretty close to their adult height.

So they have dwarfism and are lying about their age

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Why isn’t there a year on any of those dates?

[–] MummifiedClient5000@feddit.dk 61 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Date of birth: 27th of August 2010

Date of issue: 16th of April 2024

Date of expiry: 15th of April 2029

[–] Witchfire@lemmy.world 9 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

God that's a confusing format, and I know both languages

[–] ParadoxSeahorse@lemmy.world 1 points 3 hours ago

The point is to remove day/month ambiguity that would be present in numerals. Also, that French is always present, c'est toujours très important. The machine readable one is YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD

[–] GamingChairModel@lemmy.world 47 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

Passports really should be using four digit years.

[–] Cytobit@piefed.social 12 points 19 hours ago (2 children)

Just in case there any kilogenerians?

[–] emeralddawn45@lemmy.dbzer0.com 16 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

I mean if you're only using 2 digits then 1926 is gonna read the same as 2026, and there's lots of people over 100 years old...

[–] brem@lemmy.world 5 points 14 hours ago

...not to mention how confusing this would be for Benjamin Button

[–] Redjard@reddthat.com 7 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Just in case anyone reading it might be unsure of the regional date format of ...
*checks passport*
Nigeria.

[–] smeg@feddit.uk 5 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Isn't that the standard date format of all passports?

[–] Redjard@reddthat.com 2 points 4 hours ago

It would seem so, til.

There are numeric and alphabetic months, and 2 and 4 digit years, but seems to be dmy consistently.

So I suppose it's only confusing to people who don't know the secret rule of passports. Or if you have a 110 year old with dwarfism who looks 10.

This might be the prince who's been emailing me finally taking his power back. I'm certain the rewards are on their way.

[–] dis_da_mor@anarchist.nexus 22 points 1 day ago

i think that's still short for a 16 year old

[–] etherphon@piefed.world 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Watch out for Sardo Numspaa.

[–] Zerlyna@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Is that the prince who promised me some money?
