The picture I took from the overlook this spring at Fallingwater.

I went on a whim, as I like architecture, but I'm not super into it, but this house was amazing.

One of my own photos of some landscape that I have seen when on vacation.

On my desktop PC, they rotate automatically every 6 hours, and the selection of pics fits with the current season.

On my mobile devices, one picture stays for 2-3 years.

It's the same for the wallpaper; just not visible really. But it bounces between a variety of my other pictures, too.

Multiple devices, I'll list those which are convenient enough at the moment (Total: 5 phones, 2 laptops, 1 mini PC, 1 Termux XFCE setup)

  1. Primary phone homescreen (actual live wallpaper) + lockscreen:
    homescreen lockscreen

  2. Secondary phone - boykisser GIF wallpaper on dumbphone:
    UwU

  3. Tertiary phone (currently unused) homescreen + lockscreen
    homescreen lockscreen

  4. Termux

No way I spent 30 minutes just to gather these screenshots 💀

Not much wallpaper used in my house. But I do have some drywall that's protected with a simple woven glasfiber.

It's just a Barbie doll crotch under the Spotify widget, if you're curious.

Just a live wallpaper from Wallpaper Engine. I looked through hundreds before settling on this one. I have Johns Wallpaper Switcher too, though not using it currently, ofc.

Why choose just one? i have a list in wallpaper engine that's like 150 images long that cycles through.

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 3 points 2 years ago

I dunno it came with the house.

[–] AceFuzzLord@lemm.ee 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

My phone can't fit the whole thing so it does that crop thing, but currently I'm using a digital art piece I won a commission of back around 2018-2019, back when I was more active in writing fanfiction, specifically of the Summer Camp Island variety.

Don't know whether I should show it off since I don't know if the artist would want it shown off by uploading it to random places online, but I can at least link to an image of it hosted on Amino. Would not recommend clicking on it if you don't like furry characters.

One screen across three monitors so it's a wide background. I have a script run every few minutes to stitch together three random space game pictures from a directory into a single wide background that will stretch across.

it depends on the weather outside. I have breezy weather installed and right now it is overcast so my wallpaper is grey. if it weren't overcast it would be a stary night.
